- 5.0 The Longhouse of Teraja (1 review)
-Two Nights with the Iban People of Brunei
Points of Interest & Landmarks
A friend and I spent two nights at the Teraja Longhouse. We basically slept on the floor of the long porch. Outside was a toilet shower room (One male and one female). The food was basic but included different plants and nuts from the jungle which made it really interesting. Fussy eaters might not like everything but if you like chicken and rice you should be able to manage. We took a very interesting night hike where we saw the pigmy deer and other night creatures. In the day we took hikes into the jungle to different waterfalls. We saw a variety of birds including hornbills. The waterfalls were beautiful. Most of the trails followed streams and you should be prepared to walk in knee deep water at several points. This means having shoes that can get wet and drain well. A good pair of trail running shoes will work great. This experience is not for everyone but if you like adventure and want to see the rain forest, this is a great option. See more..

-Excellent worth a visit
Speciality Museums
Drove 1.5 hours from Bandar_Seri_Begawan. Take the coastal drive. Well worth a visit. Provides a really good history of petroleum... There’s plenty of English translations. The lady at reception was excellent, spoke very good English and knowledgeable. There are plenty of places to see along the coastal drive. You’ll end up driving through an oil refinery. There’s also the Billion Oil Barrel Monument near the sea. Starbucks on route, and kfc etc... plenty of service stations ‘shell’. See more..
- 4.0 Billionth Barrel Monument (69 reviews)
-Newly renovated & art works - lovely sunset location
Saturday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Points of Interest & Landmarks • Monuments & Statues
The monument lies next to the sea, with a large car park, interesting art works depicting the history of the Oil & Gas history in Brunei. The art was created by local artists over a 36 hours Live Art weekend in 2019. Lovely spot for watching the sunset over the ocean, seeing rare Pied Oriental Hornbills and photographing the ubiquitous Nodding Donkeys of the Seria oil field. There are no facilities for food, water or toilets. See more..

-Hidden Gem in Brunei Darussalam
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Waterfalls
one of the many waterfalls in Labi district but this is more outstanding. U need to drive approximately 30 mins from Brunei capital to Jalan Labi. Then another 45 minutes till the end of Jalan Labi. U will be required to register at the longhouse and pay a small fee. They will assign a guide to bring you. Track for approximately 30 minutes before you reached the waterfall. 2 layers so you can opt to go either one for a dip. Most just stayed at the bottom. Heard its quite deep so do not attempt to try to dive in. Along the way, you will need to cross streams, wade thro clear water and if you are "lucky', you will experience being sucked by the leech. This interesting place is closed on Monday and opened for the rest of the week from 2pm to 11pm. There are 2 different shooting range for kids and adults. Actually it’s “naturally” devided by types of ages, kids stand with kids and adults with adults. You know what? The kids are really good while adults like us can’t even handle the bow. See more..

- 4.0 Anduki Recreation Park (1 review)
-Tranquil
Parks
Part of our one day sojourn to Seria was spent by the lake at the Anduki park. Eventhough it was a working day in Brunei, there were many locals and cars when we got there. Turns out that most - if not all - were workers employed at the nearby oil industry facilities taking their lunch by the lake... half their luck! Like all of the locals we've come across in our time in Brunei, they were friendly, polite and hospitable. The signs warning of crocodiles piqued our curiosity but alas - despite scouring the water and banks - we didn't see any. There are many covered pavilions to sit and relax, a children's playground as well as ample parking. A nice spot for a picnic. See more..
