   The outing to Apan waterfalls (4 tier) is longer & more arduous , than other tours in Temburong; but it is totally recommended. The gradual ascent from Waterfall 1 to 4, is challenging in parts, due to steep & slippery conditions. But the staff from Freme are well trained & attentive, & there are ropes to assist you.    It was an unique experience for travelling on longboat across the river! It took around 45 mins for us to travel from our hostel to Temburong NP (for the canopay walk) and it was really amazing. The boatman used his skills to go through the riffles and you can just sit back and relax. Overall it is a must-try item when you visit Brunei. See more..

   This walk is recommended if you enjoy nature: talk trees with meandering roots, interesting rock formations (near the top), beautiful moss patterns. It’s a strenuous 1 hour 15 minute walk to the top. Views are limited, & there’s only one way back. But there is much to admire enroute, & the rainforest is a paradise for nature photography.
