-Sundarban Experience
Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Multi-day Tours • 4WD, ATV & Off-Road Tours • Boat Tours • Eco Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
I took a tour of the Sundarban Forest in Bangladesh and it was an absolutely incredible experience. The forest is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the famous Bengal tigers, as well as a number of other species such as crocodiles, deer, and a variety of bird life. The tour was well-organized, eco-friendly and our guide (Russel) was extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. We were able to see a number of different animals up close and personal, including different kinds of deer, which was a truly unforgettable experience. The boat ride through the mangroves was also a highlight of the trip. The scenery was beautiful and serene, and we were able to spot a number of different species of birds and other animals along the way. Overall, I would highly recommend Beautiful Bangladesh Tours and Travels to anyone visiting Bangladesh. It is a truly unique and special place, and a must-see for any nature lover. See more..
- 4.5 Sundarbans (131 reviews)
-Refreshing and adventurous trip
Friday: 7:15 AM - 11:59 PM Nature & Wildlife Areas
We a group of around 80 friends and family hired a launch from a company named Green Holidays and started our Sundarban trip from Khulna. We started early morning and reached a place called Katja near to Sunderban where we walked around band saw few deers, monkeys and crocodile. The animals are kept like a small zoo and aquarium. You can take photos and can feed the deers. The fresh coconut water was refreshing. We walked around two hours and came back to our launch and had our delicious lunch arranged by Green Holidays. The foods, fruits, snacks, tea and coffee are superb. We enjoyed the day long trip thoroughly. See more..

Visited this wonderful historical place on 14 February after 38 years. A place that reflects the memories of the first Indian Bengali Nobel laureate Rabindranath Thakur. Must give credit to the Department of Archeology, Bangladesh for their praiseworthy effort in maintaining the place so nicely. The exterior is well planned and constructed. The enterior is a little congusted though having few memoires and lots of pictures of the poet. One can drive down to the place following Dhaka-Kushtia road via Rajbari. It takes about five and half an hour. After visiting the place can fall back to Dhaka if wishes but it will be tiring. Better to pass a night at Kushtia or Rajbari. Its better to carry some dry food for lunch. See more..
- 4.5 Fakir Lalon Shah's Mazaar (30 reviews)
-Historical Place
Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Points of Interest & Landmarks • Religious Sites
Lalon also known as Lalon Sain, Lalon Shah, Lalon Fakir or Mahatma Lalon was a prominent Bengali philosopher, Baul saint, mystic, songwriter, social reformer and thinker from the Indian subcontinent. Regarded as an icon of Bengali culture, he inspired and influenced many poets, social and religious thinkers including Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, and Allen Ginsberg although he "rejected all distinctions of caste and creed". Widely celebrated as an epitome of religious tolerance, he was also accused of heresy during his lifetime and after his death. In his songs, Lalon envisioned a society where all religions and beliefs would stay in harmony. He founded the institute known as Lalon Akhrah in Cheuriya, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from Kushtia railway station. His disciples dwell mostly in Bangladesh and West Bengal. Every year on the occasion of his death anniversary, thousands of his disciples and followers assemble at Lalon Akhrah. See more..

- 4.0 Sat Gumbad Mosque (19 reviews)
-Unesco Heritage
Religious Sites
Built in 1459 (the same year Khan Jahan Ali died), the famous Shait Gumbad Mosque is the largest and most magnificent traditional mosque in the country. Shait Gumbad means ‘the Temple with 60 Domes’ – a misnomer considering there are actually 81. This fortress-like structure has unusually thick walls, built in the tapering brick style, and is a hugely impressive sight. The overall architectural influence is unmistakably Turkish, and the arches within the main hall are a graceful exercise in geometry. See more..
