   As mentioned, the last part of the journey from Sym village to the waterfalls requires a 4x4 and we hired a local driver with a Russian Jeep. As with most Azerbajani people we encountered, the driver was friendly and helpful. We had to park the jeep about 1.5km from the falls as there had been a landslide blocking the road. The journey to the falls from Sym village was the highlight as the area is not set up for tourists and we sampled local conditions and lovely views.     Это новый променад (место для прогулок в городах), находящийся прямо на границе Азербайджана с Ираном, назвать полностью бульваром еще не уместно, так как растения посажены недавно и потому зеленых насаждений тут не густо. Но и простым местом для прогулок тоже не назовешь, потому что тут очень красиво и интересно. Во-первых, как бульвар он овалом охватывает все городское побережье (во время заката появляется очень красивый вид на море). Во-вторых, тут имеется много видов развлечений: картинг, мини ипподром, детские аттракционы под открытым небом и многое другое. Несмотря на то, что длина бульвара всего 1 км, тут много ресторанов, кафе и чайхан. Очень понравится детям двух этажное строение (название не помню), на первом этаже которого расположился игротека, а на втором этаже – начиная с потолка вся в искусственной зелени кафе. А также привлекает особое внимание кафе в виде огромного тандыра (мангал шарообразного вида). В-третьих, этот променад местами переходит в пляжную зону. Советую совершить прогулку тут вечером, когда работают фонтаны и красиво освещаются здешние скульптуры и строения. И заодно советую, посетить по дороге в Астару Yanar Bulaq (огненный источник), где из родника течет вода, которая из-за содержания серы в прямом смысле горит. See more..
