Really big and spectacular tank museum. There are probably about 100 tanks in the museum, some of which are in the outdoor area. There is also one special tank (T-26 from year 1933) in the museum, the only surviving tank of that type in the world. A couple of hours in the museum goes so fast because there is so much to see. There is also one armored train in museum. The children especially liked the tanks where they could climb on or go inside. There is also a café with fantastic jelly donut on sale. See more..

Quite unassuming from the outside, but a real treasure trove inside, certainly a snapshot of Finnish military history, comprising of some full aircraft, some part aircraft, and a lot of interesting associated parts, the visit was made especially memorable by a young man named Tuomo, who was extremely knowledgeable, and also a very interesting person to talk to generally, we expected to stay around one hour, but it was at least two hours before we left! Would recommend visiting, just don’t be put off by the exterior, also just check out the opening times before arriving. See more..
