The park and the City Hall are located half-way when you are climbing from the Railway Station to the city center. This Jugend-style building is designed by the renowned architect Eliel Saarinen. It was built in 1912. City Hall is the hub for decision-making in Lahti, housing the functions related to the city's governance and development. We didn't go inside.
