I liked very much have been there. It was magnificent, the water is calm and the place is perfect to relax. When I went was low season and local say that during the high season this place is overcrowded. Anyway there are many things to do and places to visit nearby. There are some hotels and many apartments to rent for a day or more. So, enjoy your stay. See more..

I've been living here for almost 10 years. It's a great place. I love it. I surf, I have a surfing school, I even have a pedicab service. But things are getting pretty ugly. Despite the beauty don't let the color of the water fool you, or you are going to need to use a "close to a bunker" hospital. Do whatever you have to do to avoid the public health system. But I will be fair. I am everyday there swimming, getting a tanned, talking to my friends, teaching kids how to surf, screaming at filthy tourists who throws cans and bottles on the sand. Do not let the water comes into your system! Ever! Best option, to come here avoiding the highest season from January 1st to 20th. After that, you are good. See more..

Quite large a beach but with strong under currents and waves, not really appropriate for bathing and by no means recommended for families with kids - when water gets to your knees, it's time to stop! This is usually a very quiet place to stay and relax. Only busy times of the year are from Dec 28 - Jan 5 (new year's) and Carnaval week. The area is well served with grocery stores, bars and only 2 miles from the closest shopping area and 10 miles from Caioba beach. The beach is attended by lifeguards from December - March. The ocean is a regular beach break with some waves that can reach up to 6 feet with the right swell direction and sand bar position. Normally the waves don't reach more than 3 feet, so it is also fine for bathing and swiming. Rental houses are available and with lower prices than the most crowded beach areas nearby. See more..

Neste balneário há tranquilidade e sossego.
A praia está sempre vazia e muito tranquila. Este foi o motivo que escolhi está praia, não tem aquele barulho de outras praias, muito menos a zueira da badalação.
Aqui é um praia de quem quer sossego.
