Great cave
During our trip we stopped and visited this cage. Wonderful place with so many interesting things to view. For almost 1 hour during our tour we saw and heard very interesting stories. I recommend to see it if you are near to the area.

Great experience in a cave to remember
We were at the cave at 13:30 and we had to wait until 14:00 to visit. The rules are very strict: visit is every hour on the hour and there has to be a minimum of 4 adults in order to go through with the visit. The main gallery that we visited was 800m long. There is a concrete walkway along the route and the cave is very well lit. Our 3 years old boy had a lot of fun leading all the people through the cave, next to the official guide that told us nice stories about the cave, its formation and local legends. Be aware that in some areas, the height is 100 cm so you have to do the dwarf walk or go on hands and knees but there are just a few compared with the total length of the cave and it is totally worth it. The exit of the cave is 900 m down towards Baia de Fier village so after you get out and manage to climb down the stairs, take a left and in 900 m you will be back at the entrance where you probably left your car. Don't miss this cave, it is a wonderful experience.

Interesting and well organized
You will be there in advance to buy your ticket. After 100 tickets are sold (as this is the maximum allowed to enter once in the cave) you will receive the safety instruction and warning regarding parts of the cave with narrow passings and lower ceilings where you will have difficulties to bend and walk. The cave is one way visiting, you will enter on one side and exit on a different one. It is very well illuminated and all the way to the exit you will be guided and explanation will be given to the whole group. Inside is quite cold 10 degrees Celsius even if outside temperature was close to 32.
