    Perfect thing for a family with kids or someone who likes to remember their youth. It's a openair theater which plays the "Karl May"-Stories of Winnetou and Old Shatterhand. I really enjoyed it and it was a beautiful summer day. It was on a sunday and there were plenty of seats left to choose from, so no booking in advance necessary. Just prepare on hot days with enough sun protection and liquids because there is no shade. If you arrive by public transport then take your time, because the theater has no connections with the timetable of the train; you have to count that your arrival in Bad Segeberg will be one hour before it begins and the departure is one hour after it ends. The walk from the railway station is about 15 minutes, but there is a great catering at the place to choose from. Also the theater is not that well if you are disabled. See more..

    Wir haben vom 26. bis 30. Dezember 2015 die Ferienwohnung "Horn" bewohnt und waren rundum begeistert. Die Wohnung entspricht genau unseren Vorstellungen: stilvoll renoviert, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, großer Wohn-/Essbereich mit Küchenzeile aus Vollholz, nach oben offen bis zum Dach, aber kuschelig warm mit Fußbodenheizung trotz großer Fensterfront zum "Hof". Die Schlafzimmer sind im hinteren Bereich und bestehen jeweils aus 2 Einzelbetten, die man gut zum Doppelbett zusammenschieben kann. In dem einen gibt es eine Terrassentür zum Garten. Bad und Toilette sind getrennt. In einer kleinen Extrakammer steht die Waschmaschinen-Trockner-Kombination. Alles picobello sauber. Nach Neustadt, Grömitz, Scharbeutz, Eutin .... ist es nur ein Katzensprung.
    Frau Hillmer hat uns ganz reizend betreut und es reizt uns, die Gegend auch mal im Sommer mit den Rädern zu erkunden.     See more..

    I like this little rustic ship. It is a mixture of really cosy pub-ship as well as a place for concerts, theater, comedy and open air cinema - all in a really hands on do it yourself manner. If you expect a perfect place with 5 star service that's not it. But it is a charming place with a lot of atmosphere. The ship is not sailing, it is laying in a small river in the meadows of Wedel. They do have jazz brunches or a mean old St. Patrick's Day celebration. You'll get coffee and homemade cake as well as some hearty food. Note: they are not open every day, but for sure on the weekends. In the summer you can treat your kids to an open air production of Pippi Longstockings while having a freshly tapped Guinness or a coffee.
