  1. 4.0 Kuching Esplanade (1.075 reviews)
    - Sarawak RIver Boating is not to be missed
    Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Kuching Esplanade image
Sarawak River Boating Since time in memorial, boating across the Sarawak River has been a main means of crossing the river for locals to reach the hustle and bustle of Kuching town; and only for the smallest fee imaginable, Rm1/person! Till this very day, despite Jambatan Darul Hana being recently built, working adults and students still commute across using the traditional boats. The boat ride makes for a very serene experience. As you ride on the boat, you could picture how in the previous centuries the 'rakyat' commuted through boats like these for their very sustenance. I suggest giving more than Rm1/person when your ride ends. These boatmen have been doing this for years. Give them a tip and be generous! See more..

    Malaysia-China Friendship Park image
For something that is supposed to be a neighbourhood park, this truly an outstanding over-the-top park that deserves to be promoted to tourists and is worth a trip to the suburbs. There is a really huge statue of Admiral Cheng Ho and some tablets about the different states in Malaysia. There is tea house build to resemble the boat house in Beijing's Summer Place and a really ornate gate resembling a similar one in Kunming. There is a fish pond, lanterns, cat statues beside the park and plenty of parking. Worth a trip and worth some photos. See more..

Leisure Roundabout Miri. It's my 2nd time visiting Miri with my mother. The 1st time was November 2019, when she could still walk. However, this time she is on wheelchair, but we still managed to come again. Although Miri is not my hometown and many said that Miri has got nothing to do. But in my point of view and opinion, I feel that Miri is really a peaceful, quiet and relaxing place. I will definitely be planning again soon with my family. See more..

So we didn't know what to expect when we wondered across the road to this place, it was very quiet, but some retairan to staff having their afternoon meal were very friendly. Honestly though if you come here you have to walk past the restaurants and check out the bird cage!!! These black and yellow birds are shy to begin with but soon start talking and they are so funny!! They said things in English, Malay and Chinese and when we laughed at them, one of them mockingly copied our laugh!! So cool!! So if you are already at the jubilee park across the road pop in, at least for the birds! See more..

The temple name against dragon king in the deep sea. The person in charge shown me the small statue of the dragon (it believed to have 200 years old ) that found underneath the buddha statue in the temple. No joystick inside the temple. It's only allowed outside the temple with RM5 to purchase the joystick. i like the beautiful koi fishes in the ponds right in front of the lobby. One of the GOD seems like really hear my prayer and let my dream came true. When i returned, the person who owed me money, finally pay back to me. Thanks God! See more..
