I would like to recommend Andrei at Conchal Fun Tours if you are looking to book an excursion. He must have his phone glued to him at all times because he responds so quickly. I would recommend communicating with him on WhatsApp. Several months before my Son’s wedding we booked several large excursions with him. We booked a sunset catamaran cruise for 50 people, and a Rio Celeste jungle tour for 29 people. He custom designed the jungle tour for us with the trip to Rio Celeste, swimming in Llanos Del Cortes waterfall, lunch, and zip lining. These were all things my son and his fiancée specifically wanted to do. The guides were great, everything went smoothly and just as Andrei had promised. The busses were very nice. We booked our transfer from airport to resort and back through this company finding them online. It was only 2 of us but it still was similar price comparing to shuttle group rates and we had a luxury of private direct ride. The communication with Robert while booking through email was very easy with quick responses. He suggested to look into their tour offers and after researching in resort we realized that it was much better offer with competitive pricing from Fayla tours, again with private tour guide and custom adjustments to our likings. All drivers were super nice, freely English speaking, very patriotic and knowledgeable about country, all three cars we used are in great condition, all air conditioned. We had wonderful experience going to see Volcano, waterfalls, hot springs park and suspended bridge with our tour guide Alex who gave as plenty information about life in Costa Rica. We had such an incredible day on the Seacario we booked a second trip. In total, we caught two mahi mahi, four marlin, and six sailfish. We saw humpback whales, sea turtles and dolphins on the drive. The crew is phenomenal - I had never sport fished before and they made it incredibly easy and fun. The boat is amazing and very comfortable. This was the best excursion I’ve ever been on! First an ATV ride through Brassilito and other small towns, including stopping on multiple deserted breathtaking beaches and back roads, then zip lining over beautiful high canopies in the jungle, then a ride back to a beautiful locals beach restaurant for the freshest seafood and cold drinks right on the sand. Marco Polo was the best tour guide. He took us ATV riding through the jungle to zipline and visit a secluded waterfall. We became friends with him over time and would visit with him on the beach to say hello everyday. He was a fun guy to hang out with and chat with. He has very fair prices and a variety to offer. We did the 4 hour tour yesterday with our 4 very active kids ranging from 6-13 years old. It was AMAZING! Jim and Chris were wonderful. They truly seemed to care that we were all comfortable and enjoying ourselves. They were very kind and patient with our kids. We saw lots of dolphins and went to a beautiful secluded beach for snorkeling. We paid an extra fee to add tubing to the 4 hour tour because our kids aren’t really the “fish and chill” type—they’re looking for action at all times. It was so worth it. The kids had an absolute blast getting dragged around on the giant tube behind the boat, and Jim and Chris were extremely attentive to making sure they were safe and having fun. My wife and I just returned from four (4) days of fishing with Capt Skeet and his fine crew. Even though Capt Skeet said the fishing was slow, we had an epic time, and over our 4 days fishing we were 1 for 2 on blue marlin (275 lbs), 20+ yellowfin tuna in the 25-35 lb range, 9+ mahi maki, and 7 sailfish. Capt Skeet allowed me to use my 16 wt fly rod to catch quite a few yellowfin tuna, at least until my arms couldn't handle any more. He and his crew worked super hard to make sure we were successful. The Bushwacker is a comfortable sport fishing vessel, and the crew made some pretty tasty sandwiches every day for lunch! My wife and I had a fantastic time and sincerely enjoyed being hosted by Capt. Skeet. Top boat, top crew!. One of the best fishing days ever! On Sunday October 30th we went offshore fishing. We arrived at the beautiful Marina Flamingo at 7:00am, were greeted by the famous crew of the Gamefisher II Diego, Scobie and Erick (Junior was on vacation), started to fish around 8:00 am and our amazing day started, turning out to be one of the best fishing days in years. We got a grand Slam (Blue Marlin, Stripe Marlin and Sail) got 4 more sailfish out of 8, caught 5 big yellowfin Tuna and 5 Mahis, one of them weighted 68 ponds!. What a day! Our group of 14 was quickly shuttled to the boat, and from that moment on we were able to completely relax and enjoy the beautiful views and fabulous food. On the way to a private beach we were treated to multiple pods of dolphins putting on a show. The crew was accommodating and professional. The boat was so comfortable. Once at the beach, many of us donned snorkel equipment and had a great time exploring the small reef. Some of us paddle boarded and kayaked, while others just floated in the gorgeous water! He was incredibly professional and kind, and offered us a great deal for the same tour (plus another waterfall stop) that the hotel had for almost the same price but with him it was completely private with a personal van for just my husband and I and a tour guide. Just went on such a memorable sunset boat tour with Yuri and his assistant Dari which was really amazing! The boat was a small console type, we were 4 people, but there was enough seating and shade. What really made the ride so special was Yuri himself who was so friendly and warm. We also always felt very safe in his hands. And the delicious pineapple he served us, coconut with rum, cerveza, and drinks were great too! We first went to the pink island and did some snorkelling there, it was such a special spot! Then we headed further out, and saw so many huge sea turtles, and then after some searching we saw so many dolphins as well, literally 40-50 of them! Finally the most spectacular sunset out in the middle of ocean, with the dolphins jumping, it was such a magical experience. If you are looking for a top quality sailing catamaran, picking you up directly at the hotel beach, then I highly recommend it. Also, the crew is very cordial, friendly and helpful, as well as knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area. We saw three sea turtles, dolphins and some whales in the distance. Cesar was very helpful to us during our vacation at Plays Ocotal. He brought kayaks to our beach for use of the day, and then we booked a boat/snorkeling tour with him. Ozzy did a phenomenal job starting with communication when I reached out only a few days before we wanted to fish. He was great with email and whatsapp communication and got us set up on a boat at a fair price. He was punctual and we had the greatest time on our half day snorkel and fish tour. Guillermo took us out on a fantastic half day adventure. We went snorkelling with his deckhand Hymen and saw stingrays, octopus and many fish. We also explored a cave and saw a great view of the area from a beautiful lookout. We even fished and caught 4 barracuda, a blue runner and a Jack fish. They prepared sashimi, and ceviche with the fish we caught on the way back to shore and it was delicious. The fresh fruit topped it all off. Before heading back the tide was high enough and we were able to go through the mangroves. The capuchin monkeys were all over and very intrigued by the boat. They came right up to the waters edge. Definitely a highlight. To sum it all up, I would say that Guillermo’s 25 years experience shows in the tour and service he provides. It was a fantastic day, especially for the price. This is the second time I have done this tour with Hermosa Bot Trips - Julio is the best!! We had a lot of laughs, great waves and a safe trip. On the way to Roca Bruja, the ocean was pretty rough, but we had no doubt Julio would get us there safely. Julio’s first mate was also a photographer which was amazing since I have never had a photo taken of me surfing before. I never like to surf alone, so Julio was great at coaching me and helping me feel confident on the peak. On the way back to Playa Hermosa, we stopped at a beach (Playa Huevo) where we explored a cave, had a couple of beers and paddle boarded. (Julio can get you a paddle board rental if you need!) My sister and I decided to check out the ATV beach tour in El Jobo. Erik our tour guide was AMAZING! He is very knowledgableable and knows Costa Rica very well. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip! We could have not asked for a BETTER guide! I will be back again! Excellent day with Mario as a great mate to help our group throughout the day. We did an offshore day and caught some beautiful mahi mahi that made a great meal. We saw tons of sea life and the view is truly amazing from the water in this area. The crew worked EXTREMELY hard to keep us on fish all day, I am amazed at the speed and efficiency. We started the day off a little late due to a communication failure and it would have been great to be offered fruit/food earlier in the day so the group knew what to expect as the only slight negatives. We did an 8 hour tour around the Gulf of Papagayo with Marcy and it was the highlight of an already amazing trip to Costa Rica. Marcy came and picked us up at the beach in front of our hotel, and then proceeded to take us all around the bay to 5 or 6 different secret beaches only accessible by boat. He was a consummate guide, showing us snorkeling spots and talking to us about the landscape and the water and the wildlife, but as this was a full 8 hour day, he also had the easiest and most adaptable vibe and knew when to just let us relax or take in the scenery quietly. After the first beach had a few other boat tours anchored at it, he sensed we wanted quiet and made a point to bring us to completely empty spots for the rest of the day. It was unbelievable. And then, at the perfect time, we came back from swimming and he had fresh cut pineapple waiting for us. Highest recommendation.See more..

We did a half day fishing trip with Marcos in July 2022. From the moment I contacted Marcos via instagram he was super responsive and attentive. My husband caught a 90lb sailfish and I caught an albacore tuna. Overall a great way to spend a morning on the water. Highly recommend Uno Mas fishing!See more..
It's hard to describe the amount of big game so close to land around Papagayo. There were only two small boats but within two hundred yards of land by monkey head island we caught, a rooster fish @ 70 lbs, a mackerel @ 20 lbs and and 2 grouper @ 5 lb. The other boat from Sea Life caught a large sailfish at the same time. Great crew and they know what they are doing.See more..
We had been approached by many near resorts about booking an excursion. After looking decided to reach out to Ulf and we were glad we did. We took a daytrip to La Cruz and through the countryside. Our lunch spot had a view that was unbelievable. Our private guide made it a point to tell is about the history of the area, the wildlife we saw and trees as well. The title says it all, Victory Sport Fishing is a first class operation. The boat, crew and captain are all exceptional. My wife and I did a beautiful cruise and swim and got to watch a beautiful sunset from the ocean, then a few days later went fishing for Rooster fish and were able to catch one of the most sought after fish in the ocean a 75 lb monster!!! Then Victory took us on another adventure to a remote river and drift fished for Muchcka's and caught so many of these hard fighting river fish and seen monkeys hudge iguanas, crocks and tons of other wildlife!!! We are here in Playa del Coco for a few weeks and were looking around for a good one-day charter. The boys went out twicewith captain Antonio and first mate Kenneth aboard the Blue Eyed Angel. Owner Rick Kutaj - from Medicine Hat, Alberta - set them up for two fantastic days of fishing, sight-seeing (manta rays, dolphins, wild beaches), and a general good time. The service was excellent: very professional crew, good commentary, The boat is well-equipped and in top shape. Captain Anonio is the best! The result?
