Great tour guide, Marco Polo!!
Marco Polo was the best tour guide. He took us ATV riding through the jungle to zipline and visit a secluded waterfall. We became friends with him over time and would visit with him on the beach to say hello everyday. He was a fun guy to hang out with and chat with. He has very fair prices and a variety to offer. We even met up one night at Monkey Bar and he taught us the Costa Rican cheers while taking shots. You must have a chiliguaro shot while in Costa Rica. I 100% recommend booking with Marco Polo. I cant wait to come back to Costa Rica and take one of his tours again! See you again, Marco!!

Marco Polo is the key ?
Me and my friends walked out of our resort, walked down to the beach, not knowing we made the best decision of our trip. Not knowing that within minutes would meet a local guide man that would change our whole Costa Rica experience. He opened his heart, his world and his love for his home too us. It was like meeting an old friend, you'd hadn't seen in too long. Taking us around to local bars, showing us the different beach and local life style and food mmmm ...that I can still taste when i close my eyes. i had never jet skied before but him and his guides made me feel safe and like i could do it all in their safe and patient hands (cut to me jumping some air on the jet in that beautiful salty clear blue ocean in gulf of papagayo. You wanna do it right, You wanna do it like the locals, you wanna see it Costa Rica on or off the map? Marco POLO is the key. Te amo amigo! no puedo esperar para volver! oxo

Amazing day - Buena Vista Tour!
I had read the reviews here months ago and decided to contact Marco in January to plan an excursion for our family of 4 over March Break. He was responsive and planned a private tour for us, kept in touch with me days up to us travelling and letting us know about the weather and what we would need for our excursion. The day of our tour Marco was not able to join us, but he set us up with Martin who did an amazing job guiding us and we learned so much along the way. We were able to stay in front of the crowds and most of our activities we were alone which was amazing... ziplining, waterslide, the most incredible lunch (we're still talking abut the rice and beans!!), horseback ride and hike to the waterfall. The only time we were with others was at the mud baths/hot springs. This tour was the highlight of our trip! The only reason I removed a star from the review is because we never got the photos Martin took of us throughout the day. I had tried to contact them afterwards, but we haven't heard back. I would definitely recommend Marco Polo Adventures.
