Nice island
I went to see the mantas from maratua island, we didn’t see any that day. But the snorkeling around the island was great. The huge turtles were also worth the trip. They do have a turtle hatchery on the island and that’s fantastic. I love that kind of stuff. I don’t care if you have seen them before in the Caribbean or Maldives come here see them if for the fact you will be contributing to the natural environment there.

There is no place like this island
From tarakan northern kalimantan province i took a motor boat 2,5 hours to derawan island for a quick stop and continue 45 minuted to sangalaki island. Is a conservation island for green turtle to lay the eggs, 18 hectar and only 9 rooms Outside the sangalaki island is the place for mantaray to get their food plankton, there are 5 dive spots: manta run, manta avenue, manta point, manta parade and cleaning point.where you can swim and dance with the mantaray. 20minutes is kakaban lake the stingless jellyfish So for me this sangalaki island/resort is the only one kind in the world to have so many thing in one place There is no place like this
