Skiing in China is still relatively new...but they are trying. Anyone who goes there and wants/demands the same standards as in France or Switzerkand or the USA is not well in the head ! Also most foreigners get ripped off because they don't do their homework. In 42 years of travel I have NEVER been riped off. Not once. Also loose the attitude when travelling. It is not about you. Like some reviews about it is cold in Yabuli. Really??? Then why did you go? Obviously its colder than Europe...did nobody do geography at school ? Tourists should stay at home ! Only travellers allowed. I have a solid yardstick to measure things by...42 years in the travel industry and over 104 countries....some up to 30 times or more repeat visits. Not many people can say that. China - you are doing well. You'll get there and over take Europe.See more..

We did not want to be stuck on a 5hours X 2 bus ride to head to Yabuli so we asked suggestion around for the nearest ski resort from Harbin city. Most people will say Jinhua resort. At first we were a bit worried since we did not get to see much reviews in English. We were quoted 400rmb for a day trip by local taxi drivers to go there. Then you would have to rent your own equipment. However we headed to the tourist centre and we were quoted 170rmb per pax inclusive of transport, lunch and ski equipment. I must say it is the cheapest ski trip ever @ 25 Usd per pax. We were also surprised to get a private driver to fetch us to the place. It is a 2hours X 2 ride from Harbin city. The driver also refused to take our tip. Overall the place is not bad for beginner, not crowded at all. We came very early and it looked like we had the whole place to our self. Since the sun set early, your driver will bring you back at around 2.30pm. Overall it was good day!See more..

Our taxi driver brought us to this place. There were not a lot of people when we arrived which was perfect. We had the snow slides to ourselves and their instructors seems friendly and attentive. Will definitely be heading to this resort again.See more..
