A must to go

This historic part of the ancient harbour warehouse area is an impressive view as well as a cool place with lots of museums (minatur wondeland, ship-paintings, tee ....), amusement (Hamburg Dungeon, Dinner in the dark, ...). Further it is very close to the Elbphilharmonie which has been built on top of a former warehouse in that area. Special boat tours are available at Landungsbrücken to have a look at the old buildings from the waterside.

    A gem
    Almost skiped this place, but glad I didn't. These massive buildings lining up on a row like this is a bit mezzmerising to watch. I could have walked more in the area. So many bridges and elevated walk paths crossing over each otehr that there is alway a new angle to see. Highly recommend a walk in this area if the wather is good.

    Money ??
    After all the money they splashed on this, it has come out quite a success. Well done. Buildings are well renovated and house things like the Miniatur Wunderland, the Hamburg Dungeon and a coffee roasting place which you can visit. All red bricks.
