Relaxing center of busy city
These two lakes are a place for relaxation, sporting, walking and joy. In the center of Hamburg city these lakes provide scenery to and from the Altstadt and the rest of the city. An easy trip to cycle around these lakes and get various impressions of hamburg, since the districts around the lake are quite different

Peaceful experience
This is a pleasant are with lots to see, boats for rent, both sail and paddle as well as tour boats that function in a hop on hop off capacity. Much of the area is great for sight seeing, walking and bicycling. We enjoyed some of the dock style restaurants that are on the lake that provide everything from breakfest to dinner.
