Magnificent market!
This is a complete contrast to touristic Bucharest. Here you see the real people living there normal life. The market is huge, probably the biggest I have ever been to. The produce is really fresh and very affordable. We were impressed with the vegetables as well as the meat and fish. Also we had a fantastic meal in the attendant bar- beer 80p & meal £2. I would recommend a visit to really appreciate life in Romania.

Mostly produce for the locals
We always check out the open air markets. This one is outside and inside. This is mostly a fruit/vegetable market and inside they sell newer things. Disappointed to not find any antiques or second hand stuff, which we usually enjoy at markets. More of a local's shopping for produce place with plenty if you are looking for that. Very convenient to take the metro there. Right across the street is the Veranda Mall.
