Alberta and Jose Luis in 1999 began developing artisanal wine to taste at home, in the year 2005 they decided to make their first wine for sale, they wished they had the essence of sharing their profession and their journey through life. Jose Luis is in charge of the field, the operative part of the winery and make sure the vines give excellent results and to ensure that the parameters have been proposed as standard, while Alberta is the Winemaker of the winery, she is responsible for the management of winemaking processes and administration, both demonstrate their fellowship and giving in each of their bottles. Initially Jose Luis and Alberta chose the best plots and designed wines that would enter the market in 2006, the same year they began a new adventure: the construction of the winery, which has been opened since the summer of 2012 to the public for tasting and sales. In Xecue Winery our products are made with care, each wine has its own personality, range of wines are balanced by subtle feminine and masculine character sets, these particular traits are expressed on the label. L.A. Cetto Boutique Valle de Guadalupe image
This was the first of the 2 wineries of our Carnival Cruise Excursion. It started with a scenic bus ride to the lovely Valle de Guadalupe. Our tour guide, Irma, was very informative with the history of Mexico and the wineries of Ensenada. Once we got to the winery we were showed every step of how the wine is made , from getting it off of the trucks, to the aging process, and everything in between. The guide at the winery was very thorough and knowledgeable. He even showed us the "proper" way to hold a wine glass and how to get the most out of a tasting. At the end of the tour we were treated with some delicious homemade sweet breads, meats and cheeses to go with our tastings. We had time to make purchases at the gift shop before heading back on the bus, where we were given a free bottle of wine to take back to the ship with us. We partied on the bus the entire way back. It was quite a good time! See more..

My husband and I got there 30 minutes before closing (6:30pm) and it was closing at 7pm. The kitchen had already closed. But the staff was so lovely & the surroundings so enthralling we were just happy to be there. We only had enough time to enjoy a delicious glass of dry white wine (name escapes me) as the sun was setting. But will return again to try the food. They also have Teslas chargers and the place is dog friendly. See more..

    Vena Cava image
Fernanda was such an incredible host, she is not only incredibly knowledgeable but passionate about what she does. We did the premium natural wine tasting which was great, if you haven’t tasted natural wines before there is a different finish to it, almost sour like kombucha but unique and lovely. If that’s not your thing than stick to the basic tasting. We loved learning tons about natural wines and the story of Vena Cava. Will definitely be back at our next trip to the Valle. See more..

Tres Valles makes some of the best wines in Baja Wine Country. Located in San Antonio de las Minas, you can start your winery hopping here on your way out to the valley. The staff are very personable, and bi-lingual. Alejandro will give you background and explanation of the wines you are drinking, and if there aren't too many visitors he will also take you into the adjacent winery to explain what is happening there. If you happen in at the right time of year, you can also taste the wines that are just then in fermentation. Wine tasting is free when you buy a bottle, which of course you should! Tres Valles recently built several guest rooms for rent, so give them a call and see what's available. See more..

    - Worth The Visit.

    Vinos Pijoan image
I went for a birthday party that a friend of mine was having. About 14 people were there. It was a beautiful place, parking was easy, food (although I’m vegan) looked exceptional, & the prices were very good. As it is something I’ve recently witnessed in the Valle, I feel compelled to say that they do accept dogs. Actually lovingly accept them. The wines were tasty. Nevertheless, overall, I would only come back to take people as they weren’t my personal favorites (generally speaking). There was a Nebbiolo, Cabernet, & i believe Syrah blend that was exceptional. There gift shop is super cute too & has some quality products inside. Friendly service was a big thing & the owner even came & spent some time getting to know us too. She was very sweet. All in all, a beautiful & worthwhile place to visit. See more..
