Tranquil and Scenic Canoe Hire

We hired a double Canoe on Pyramid Lake from the Pyramid Boathouse. Registration was quick and safety briefing was given by their staff. Life jackets and a whistle were issued before bing cast off in the canoe. It’s a lovely area and so tranquil on the water. Having got use to the paddling we moved into the lake spotting Elk paddling just off shore and hearing the call of the Loons.

    Amazing Experience
Beautiful Lake with a spectacular view of the mountains. We rented a Double Kayak (moderately priced), and spent an hour paddling around. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The drive up from Jasper townsite is quick and there are lots of nice areas to stop and have a picnic by the lake. Highly recommend if you are only in Jasper for a short period of time.

    When a driver/guide makes a big difference
My wife and I, as tourists belonging to the Rocky Mountaineer tour program, spent a beautiful day touring Jasper National Park with Mike Morrison, the driver/tour guide assigned to us through Brewster Sightseeing. I feel that Mike deserves to be highlighted for his professionalism in providing that balance of knowledge, humor and genuine interest in pleasing the customer that only years of experience can provide. Mike combined his explanations of the geology, geography and history of the various sites with interesting stories of WW II, key people who made their marks in the region and used humor to keep us entertained. He stopped the bus on multiple occasions to permit us to see wildlife; elk, rocky mountain big horned sheep, etc... He also interceded on our behalf calling Rocky Mountaineer to answer our questions regarding Covid testing, testing locations and next day pickup. You will be very pleased if your guide turns out to be Mike Morrison!!!
