   Time is elastic. The sign on the door said 'Back at 2' but the person in charge didn't reappear until sometime after 2.30. It was worth the return visit, to see this very interesting museum.    The front of the shop is all supplies for making jewlery and most of the customers were local native americans. Lots of raw materials priced by the ounce or pound including silver wire, turquoise, coral and other natural items. The back of the shop has some very nice items for sale.    When you drive through Zuni Pueblo on NM 53, it's easy to overlook the Zuni Craftsmen Cooperative. If you are shopping for locally crafted items such as Zuni jewelry or pottery, this would be a mistake. Although the inventory is not large and the shop itself quite modest, the staff are super helpful, the quality of items high, and prices very reasonable. Add to this that it's the only locally owned and operated gallery and you have a hit! My travel companion and I (both pottery collectors) vowed that this is the only gallery in town that we would shop at if we made a return visit to the Pueblo. See more..

He took my husband and I on a two person tour (the first of the day) and we left with a tremendous appreciation for his cultural heritage.
