Can’t say enough about how cool of an experience this was. The dogs were so friendly and obviously love what they do. The trail they used was beautiful, with bridges and rivers, although I spent most of the time looking at the dogs. My wife rode in the sled and I stood on the back (felt like a real musher!) This was an experience we won’t forget, and I highly recommend it! See more..

  5. 5.0 Mount Ascutney Windsor Trail (1 review)
    - Awesome view
    Hiking Trails
    Mount Ascutney Windsor Trail image
This is a very comfortable hike and has awesome views. The thing I liked the most was the displays on the railings of the fire tower so that you can see the names of the mountains and elevations. There are a lot of rocks on the upper half and they can be very slick even a day after the last rain. I took a good fall which made for an uncomfortable hike down. I will do this hike again because I neglected to take photos of the views from the fire tower after my fall. However the parking lot is only about 20 minutes from the Harpoon brewery so make a reservation in advance and have a great day. See more..

7.18.22 Rainy day stop so place was very busy. There's indoor and outdoor seating with some outdoor spots wait an cover. Indoors you can walk up and order beers, we chose to sit. Our sandwiches were amazing. Meat was tender, cooked to perfection and the buns were soft and warmed up. My peach flavored beer tasted more of a dessert beverage and was absolutely perfect. Great atmosphere, great beer, great service. A must stop if in the area. See more..
  7. 4.5 Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge (191 reviews)
    - Convenient location
    Bridges
    Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge image
I wanted to see the alleged longest two-span wooden covered bridge in the world. I was afraid it would be in a busy area with no parking, but was pleasantly surprised! Beautiful historic building that is fun to drive thru, wasn't busy at all. Convenient parking for multiple cars was right outside of it on the NH side. Pay attention to the traffic and you can have plenty of opportunities to photograph the bridge from every angle. Just the feeling of driving it was absolutely worth the detour. See more..

Parked across the street next to Price Chopper at an empty building (someone had just gotten a ticket for parking on the main road) and walked down a few feet of a dirt road to the park. Such a nice place for walking, fishing, or going for a run! We saw geese and goslings, many fish, snapping turtle and LOTS of beaver activity. I’m sure if we had been out there at dusk we would have seen plenty of them. We walked around the whole park and out to the gazebo. Lots of different areas to explore, from the water, to a field with swallows everywhere, woods, marshy area, etc. beautiful spot. See more..

After filling out the card , one of the workers will use a small plastic palate to fill each space . Then you head out to sample your jam . The staff is incredibly kind and patient and the jam is very tasty! I loved the naked blueberry ( no sugar added) and the strawberry rhubarb ! Including all the typically flavors , they also have unique creations with bergamot, thyme, lavender and dandelion to name a few. See more..
