We like to buy local and there’s a lot to choose from when it comes to maple sugar products. We particularly like the big selection of maple syrup, with amber being our current fav. Many others to try! The candies are a great childhood memory gor me and unfortunately I eat far too many at one time lol. Yummy. See more..

We went kayaking here one afternoon and had a great time. The boat launch is easy to access, there's a lot of parking, and there's a nice grassy area right by the launch. The entire area is extremely clean and during our 3 hours I didn't see a single piece of garbage in the water, around the banks, or at the launch area. There's a floating island that makes the lake seem much smaller than it is and there are different little coves to explore. We didn't fish but I've been told it's a great spot for that too. The boats on the lake are smaller fishing boats, nothing too large. We'll absolutely be back to fish, swim, and kayak more! See more..
