Trails are will maintained. You can choose hills or flat surfaces and lots of short side trails off the beaten path. There is a gazebo and charcoal grills at the entrance.     I have lived in Weymouth for a long time and over the years I have heard good and bad about the Cliffhanger. Well as in most places in life you just have to experience yourself to determine what is actually true. So this past Sunday I decided to venture out and patronize places that I have only heard about. The Cliffhanger was one of those places. The exterior was clean and a patio was set up with several tables. Upon entering I would characterize it as a sports bar do to the number of TV's and an inviting pool table. The bar is horse shoe shaped and the nine or so patrons that were sitting around the bar appeared to know each other. I sensed that I was a stranger invading their space. It wasn't until the sweat smiling female bartender approached me for my order that the ice seemed to be broken. Because I was alone, I decided to play some KENO and between gambling and the Red Sox my mind was occupied. I observed a sign for pizza but I'm not sure what other type of foods are served. It may have been the time of day or day itself but the rumors about the type of crowd that frequents this bar did not appear to be true. I would patronize the Cliffhanger again but certainly with others during a sporting event to determine if in fact the atmosphere does change. A cold beer is a cold beer!!! See more..
