   In every sense of the word it is peaceful. The music that they produce is gentle and soothing, but with meaning and spirituality behind it. I probably would not recommend it as a place for young children, just out of consideration for the other visitors and the overall atmosphere is too sedate for their energy, and they may get bored easily there. It is important to know that the priory is not necessarily Catholic in character, but rather completely open to all who can appreciate a quiet life of spiritual contemplation. See more..

   Great store with lots of typical souvenirs but also eclectic choices. Largest selection and unique puzzles that I have ever seen under one roof. Could spend a day here poking around. Staff very friendly. See more..

   Been to the Ludlow area many of times. If you not capable of hiking or strenuous activities there is not a lot to do close by. Found this gem on Trip Advisor. As soon as you walk in there is a nice volunteer willing to answer all your questions and show you around. We were lucky enough to meet the tin smith. He has even made ornaments fort he White House Christmas Tree. Amazing work. And if you are lucky enough to have the old house next door, The Farrar-Mansur House, take the tour. Amazing old items dating back to the Civil War. Nothing roped off. All accessible.What a story to the whole house. Both are free, but donations are welcome. See more..
