   B and B farms is a hidden gem. The owners Barbara and Farmer Bob are amazing. The ice cream is delicious and the atmosphere is incredible with their farm animals and beautiful view. The shop is a special seasonal treat. You never know, Santa might stop by. I highly recommend this place. See more..

   The West Have Veterans Museum and Learning Center has so much more to offer than I thought it would. It’s free to get in but I personally highly recommend a donation even if it’s a small one. The museum is run exclusively on volunteers and is a nonprofit organization. You can have a guided tour or walk through at your own pace. There is so much to see, various uniforms, weaponry, equipment, and other military related memorabilia. We stayed for about an hour, going through the museum and having a chat with the friendly and very knowledgeable volunteers. It’s a must for all military enthusiasts or anyone who wants to learn more about military history. They also have a learning center that has over 1,000 books. The West Haven Veterans Museum and learning center is an excellent resource and museum in the southern region of Connecticut. See more..

   This is a basic conference center. There is plenty of parking. The staff working here is very helpful and friendly. Rental rates are good. If you can get a room with a view of the beach, this is a great spot to have a party. A word of caution- ask about how big the other parties are if you're renting an event. I had a birthday party here, and a large party completely blocked the entrance to the room I had rented. Friends were forced to go outside and around to the exterior doors. See more..
