Johnny mac is the man!! he had us hitting every rapid right dead center for the most action! he kept us all very safe and inside the raft, great hospitality! the meal at the end is excellent also! please dont change a thing US Rafting, and we shall see you again!    Excellent company. They serve a steak/chicken/fish/veggie burger choice BBQ after rafting that is really good! This is a great company for Youth Groups because they have various tent style bunk houses to stay in for a very reasonable price. Our inexperienced group of teen girls LOVED this trip. See more..

   The Kennebec was wild and beautiful on a somewhat smokey and cloudy but rain free Tuesday. The smoke was from the western wildfires. Our guides Oliver and Dylan were super fun and competent. Oliver, the guide on our boat , had some great rafting adventure stories and knowledge of the river’s history. My friend’s 16 year old daughter recommended Moxie because she had enjoyed her camp outing with them just a few weeks previously. My friend had never been white water rafting but had a great time in some pretty gnarly white water as we crashed through Magic Falls and Big Momma. By the end she was having fun floating beside the raft. The river is beautiful as is the wildlife and forest surrounding it. We feel like we have we’ve made some new friends and a guide company that we can return to and recommend to friends. Tuesday is a great day to go as sometimes it is a quieter day there.    Thank you Mark, Neida and Remi for your posts. We made the trip from Moxie Falls to Grand Falls. We followed Mark and Neida's directions and found it easily. The only thing I have to add is at 12 miles look for the yellow arrow pointing towards the road the falls is on. We made the mistake and thought it was a ATV trail and continued a little further. If you go too far you will know it. The road has a lot baby pine trees and thick grass growing in the middle . It's hard to turn around in an SUV. When you hit 12 miles look for the yellow sign with the arrow on it . Across the street on the right from the porta potties is the road to the falls, If you have a truck or a larger SUV you can make it easily down to the parking lot on the left. We made the trip in a GMC Acadia just fine. It truly is one of the local fishermen's best kept secrets. The trail to the top of the falls has a staircase made out of rocks . A little climbing but fairly easy. The trail is marked very well. See more..

   Camped here with a paddling club and had a great weekend. Clean, well-kept, affordable. My campsite next to the river was great; friends who stayed in the cabins loved them too. Restaurant and bar are very convenient if you don't want to cook. Atmosphere among the campers was relaxed and convivial but never rowdy. We brought our own boats but used Riverdrivers' shuttles to the Dead River put-in, then paddled right back to the campground--a luxury at the end of a long, exciting day.
