    Riverfront Park image
The Riverwalk is an easy and convenient way to spend some quality time just a few steps away from Wenatchee Ave that runs thru downtown Wenatchee. We set out to walk after diner and before sunset. The trail, even in the midst of Memorial Day weekend, was sparsely populated, and wide enough to accommodate a variety of uses and users. As we headed in one direction or the other we easily built up a mile or more without much effort and enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way. Highly recommended for ease of access and convenience to anyone staying or visiting the downtown area. See more..

Mission Ridge Ski and Board Resort image
Mission Ridge is in the heart of Washington State where the jagged peaks of the Cascade Range meet the high rugged desert of eastern Washington. A volcanic past has created a ridge where snowcapped peaks shimmer on one side and the Columbia River rolls majestically through eastern Washington on the other. But don’t let the view distract you, Mission Ridge has over 2000 acres to explore. Carve tree lined groomers, float through wide open bowls, wiggle through glades or scream down narrow chutes. Now throw in tons of sunshine, heaps of dry snow, and reams of velvety corduroy and you have Washington’s most distinctive winter playground. Make us your Mission this season. See more..

Absolutely love this place. We visited the store in Leavenworth located on 933 Front St. Ste C. We purchased their bar nuts twice. Highly recommend. See more..
  22. 4.5 Squilchuck State Park (4 reviews)
    - A great place to hike/bike/snowshoe in the trees that is close to town.
    State Parks • Forests
There are over 12 miles of trails for biking and hiking that are intermediate level. Trails are well maintained. It is a great spot in the summer when it is 5-10 degrees cooler than in the valley. In the winter, it is great for snow shoeing and it is being used by fat bikes as well. I highly recommend this area for activities, even just walking - so much better than walking the malls. When you get up in elevation, there are great views. Remember your Discover Pass as it is a state park. See more..

We were down visiting some relatives and were winding down for the night, so thought we would grab a movie. It was refreshing sitting in this older style theater(no one else was even there) and the folks at the counter were really friendly. My only grumble was the popcorn was self serve from area out in front of the stand and it didn't seem very fresh. Otherwise a wonderful place to grab a movie and slip back to simpler times.
