  2. 4.0 Steck Park (2 reviews)
    - A nice place to take the family camping and fishing
    Parks
We have been going to Steck park for years, it is the place whre the Snake River starts to slow down and make Brownlee Reservoir, it is easy to get to and has some great fishing. We have camped here many times in tents and RV's and have always enjoyed it. Show up early on Fridays to get one of the better camping spots closer to the water and with more shade, as it fills up quick. There is a boat ramp for public use also. It is almost impossible to find firewood so we always bring some with us. There are some BIG catfish here! See more..
  3. 4.0 Snake River Heritage Center (1 review)
    - Guided tours to local history
    History Museums
Ken Waldron gave our tour and having lived in the area and attended school in this historic building, his tour was fun and very informative. The only down side to the facility is that it is not yet equipped for persons with handicaps and you have to climb stairs. But if you are able, it is well worth the stop. See more..
