I was meeting a friend at the Wayne General Store so I could go back to their house. While I was waiting I looked around and there it was, running water, a dam and a bridge flanked by a beautiful green space, I couldn't resist! I decided to explore and was taken with Mill Creek and the peaceful surroundings. There are several benches in the area just calling for someone to use on a warm summer afternoon with a good book. The sound of the brook adds to the serene affect and makes this is a near perfect spot with a history. See more..

My wife and I enjoyed a day of snowshoeing, tramping the six miles of wooded, rolling terrain on a cold winless day after a blizzard. The warming hut was nicely stocked with diversions, including a group-effort puzzle for this year's visitors and--just what she needed--reading glasses. The 'comfort stations' were clean and supplied. We don't own snowshoes, but Mr. Patell loaned them for free. An inexpensive, beautiful day. See more..
