I stayed at three rivers the night before. I drive south to north and only visited the Sequoia National park. We stopped at the visitor’s centers along the way and at General Sherman area. Plenty of spots to stop for amazing pictures. Bring good walking shoes and water. Food at restaurant locations are very expensive. Totally worth a visit. Finished our route in 5-6 hours. See more..

The Park was truly beautiful and deserves a few days of camping. I was only there for a few hours to look around due to my schedule, but the scenery was spectacular! One of my favorite local must-shop-while-in-the-Central-Valley stores is/was [they are closing, due to the proprietors' retirement] is/was Good Goods. Why do/did I love it so much: Originality and because it represents/represented all that is/was best about the type of high quality craftsmen [and women] you can find in the Central Valley [which you'd never imagine, if you just race on through]. One day, as I was strolling through GOOD GOODS, I picked up a magazine I had never seen before: ENJOY, which featured the delightful establishment I was in, and within its pages, I found even MORE delightful places where artisans, gardeners, cooks, and specialty farmers were selling their wares----that I was NOT aware of, and yet, they are all within a 1/2 hour drive from my home! What is even BETTER, is that I discovered that ENJOY The Store HAS many of the foods and arts and crafts made by these incredible people, and so I did not need to travel very far AT ALL to sample many lovely lovely items! So, if you are driving through the Central Valley, especially, if you are on your way to SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK [get off the 198 at the Hwy 63 exit, and make a left on Court and then a left on Center, until you hit West], stop by ENJOY THE STORE, pick up some picnic items [cheeses, nuts, the most beautiful dozen eggs you've ever beheld, honey, etc.], some handmade soaps and lotions, darling all-occasion cards, leather items, charms, crocheted items, candles, ALL lovingly crafted by people in the area, who still believe in LOCAL, QUALITY, and MOM AND POP. I am somewhat ashamed to admit the I have lived in this area for 30 years and this was our first visit to the Fox Theatre. It was an outstanding concert, and the venue was for its age, beautiful. This was an amazing way for the whole family to enjoy the trip up the mountain to Sequoia National Park. We are from TX, so mountain driving isn't our thing. When I came across this on trip advisor I called immediately. The drivers were friendly, safe drivers, very informative and just all around amazing! It cost $20 per person round trip and very well worth it. I would highly recommend this route to others to see these awesome trees. It was definitely a 10 out of 10. See more..

I love roller skating, and have not been on 8 wheels since I was in my late teens. I was a guest to your establishment and had a great time. The booth to receive skates was short staffed but I assume it was because it was so late in the session. If you're looking for a totally family friendly place to spend your time.. I took my son on a Sunday afternoon. Probably should have picked a different day. It was really crowded. There were no tables available but that’s okay we came for the games. Unfortunately there were a lot of games down. Several of the coin shooter games had pennies and nickels stuck in them. The workers there were not friendly either. I get that it’s a kid friendly place but when the workers see kids throwing basket balls for the games at other kids they should at least ask them to stop. Overall we will not be going back.
