   The homestead is charming, the shop inviting, and the array of maple products irresistible…but the sweetest treat was Roger Proulx’s answering our question about how maple trees are tapped with an impromptu guided tour of the backyard maples and syrup-making shed.    We had reservations to return from the U.K. on 6/17/18 and be picked up by the shuttle to get us home from Logan.. We had health issue arise and called in the wee hours of 6/5 from Iceland to see if we could be picked up that evening. Melissa who was on call quickly responded to out request working with Becki and keeping in constant communication with us to let us know that a driver would be waiting for us when we arrived that evening. As expected everything went fine and Bob Bryant who was our driver was very accommodating and friendly. This is the excellent level of service this company provides and I have heard it from others who have used them also. HIGHLY recommend them. See more..

   I love Smitty's! I love that you can sit down at a table, and still recline to watch the movie. I love that they have $5 movies on Tuesdays! I love that if you pay a little more for your popcorn, you can get a refillable popcorn bucket. We love Smitty's. I don't usually eat the food, so I can't really comment on that. See more..

   While shopping in Tilton, I visited the Book Warehouse. It had books at 50% to 80% off retail prices. I found a wide variety of books from former best-sellers, history, and cookbooks to children’s and young adult’s books. The only category missing was travel. One title of particular interest was the “Soprano Family Cookbook” as Compiled by Artie Bucco. It was a flashback to the TV series. I rate Book Warehouse at 4.50.
