This place is amazing. It’s locally owned and Jeff the owner is always there. They show it all. If you want to see a B movie from the 60’s they have it. A new movie in 3D- wait a few weeks and it’s there. The price is inexpensive (popcorn, a slice of pizza and a drink with admission $16-$18). Buy local and have a blast. See more..

Brandon did a wonderful job for the students on our school field trip (Grades 2-HS). He was fun and informative. They offer homeschool classes Oct.-June for $8.50 and family classes also. Well worth the prices for a whole lot of fun. It is really satisfying to hear the arrows hit the hay bale targets. See more..

  8. 5.0 DanceWell Ballroom (1 review)
    - Super fun dance classes
    Sunday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Lessons & Workshops
I've been taking dance classes from the DanceWell instructors for about a year now. Each instructor is personable and knowledgeable about a variety of dance styles. They teach ballroom (i.e., foxtrot, waltz, etc.), latin (i.e., salsa, tango, etc.), nightclub, country and swing (West Coast swing is especially popular now). Why I like DanceWell is because they host several dance parties each month where students get to practice in a real social dance environment. The folks who come to these parties range from newcomers to veteran dance instructors. Everyone is super nice and inviting. Even if you've never taken a class for a particular dance, everyone will happily show you some basic moves to get you moving across the ballroom floor. The majority of classes are held at The Ballroom Dance Company's ballrooms, but DanceWell instructors also teach at Dance Fit Oregon in Beaverton, Dance Sport in The Pearl District and Parkrose Dance Avenue in NE Portland. We were going to have dinner at Din Thai Fung and was happy to see it right there so we could wait for a table. I had the Blackberry Cider, best cider I have ever had! My husband had a flyboy beer that was great too. So convenient and a great place to go! See more..

    - Wild Ethnic Mashup at Nondescript Suburban Strip Mall
    Shopping Malls
Next time you're passing through Tigard stop and check out Tigard Plaza Mall, on 99W just West of 217, behind the Joy Theatre. This ultra funky commercial corner is home to an amazing assortment of mom and pop ethnic eateries and grocery stores. I can think of no other spot in Oregon where you can find nestled side by side a Mexican Tienda, a Indian Spice Shop, a Thai Seafood Market, a Vietnamese Pho Joint and a Mediterranean Pizza and Gyro spot. Did I mention there's also a British Fish and Chips Restaurant and a Sub Shop. Am I the only one who thinks this is all the more wonderful for being located in white bread Tigard? See more..

    Bridgeport Village image
I love to come here because it’s dog friendly. You can take your pups in most shops. Just look for the blue paw print on the door. Some of the patrons are snooty and the concierge desk people could be nicer. They ignored us for the most part. Otherwise, it’s a great place! A lot of fun at the holidays too! A lot of construction going on and a little bit of a mess. Can’t wait to see how it is when it’s all finished. See more..

My wife and I recently had a few drinks and a light meal at the Bounty Hunter. It's a very welcoming place with a mostly local clientele but we were met with a friendly greeting and good service. Whether you are looking for a nice spot to relax with a drink or want a good meal served by friendly staff, I highly recommend the Bounty Hunter. It's right across the street from the Tigard Quality Inn which makes it very convenient for many travelers. See more..
  18. 4.0 The Circuit Bouldering Gym (6 reviews)
    - FANTASTIC!
Spent 1-2 hours Sports Complexes • Yoga & Pilates
I am so glad I came to this place! I had never tried bouldering before, but this was the best introduction ever. First off, you can get a great discount if you purchase a Groupon for the Circuit Gym, where you can get two admission entrances plus shoes and chalk for two people for the price of $14, which is a great price. We thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. This place is very, very very large, which gives it a really nice feel. They play music and it gives the atmosphere an awesome feel. They have large warehouse doors that they open during the summer that lets all the sunshine in. We felt like this place was very fun and challenging, and they have routes for all skill levels. They even have showers if you want to clean up after. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! See more..

    Infinity Golf image
There is so much good to be said about this place. For the avid golfer, it can be challenging and a training center. For an intermediate golfer, exciting to golf at different locations around the world, and for the beginner, it’s easy and fun. The video equipment all works perfectly and the facility is well-maintained. If needed, they even have golf clubs to lend you. Just show up and you’re all set. It has a full bar and a new chef who is creating an amazing menu. There are 5 private areas and one larger room that would be perfect for parties or a foursome. It is set up for both adults and kids. It’s one of the best things you could do in the Portland area. See more..
  21. 3.5 Sky High Sports (11 reviews)
    - My teen had a great time
    Game & Entertainment Centers
Surprised at the reviews I just read. Sky High is huge. And the employees were so nice to us when we checked in. We bought 2 hours of jump time and the grip socks were free. My son is 14 and extremely athletic. I guess they didn't have as many special half pipes and what not, but he was a sweaty mess after 2 hours from playing dodgeball and doing tricks in the large tramp area. There's also a snack bar which has every snack kids love. Lots of seating for parents and the free wifi is strong. My son definitely would go back! See more..

  23. 3.5 Gator's Pub & Eatery (4 reviews)
    - Gator burger
    Sunday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 AM Bars & Clubs
Found this place by accident. My wife & I arrived at lunch time and was greeted by Kim. She was very cheerful, handed us menus and asked if we wanted anything to drink. They were cleaning the taps (they have a bunch) so we had iced tea. I ordered the Gator burger and Kim said that was at least a 3 napkin burger. It had a thick burger patty, ham, bacon, egg, special sauce, normal veggies in a big bun. It came with at least a half pound of fries & a pickle slice. It was juicy, messy & delicious! My wife had the bacon, cheese burger and it was more than she could eat and half her fries was still on the plate. We have gone back once and we will eat there again in a week or so.. See more..
  24. 3.5 House of Reptiles and Venomous Reptile Museum (4 reviews)
    - "Best in the Country" award 2014
Sunday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Speciality Museums
This is such a great place to learn, see and touch reptiles. The owner, Tim, is very nice about educating his visitors and customers as this is a retail location. When we (son's family with 2 and 7 year old grandsons) stopped in they were helping a lizard with his shedding skin. It was fun and interesting to watch them care for him. They have all kinds of lizards, tortoises, turtles, frogs, and snakes. If you want to see the Venomous Reptile Museum, pay $3 and you enter a separate room. This is the only place I want to see venomous reptiles. Fascinating! I saw frogs, snakes and lizards. The Diamond Back Rattler scared my daughter-in-law who was raised in Texas. Recently they rescued an Indian Cobra. This is a great and safe place to take your kids to learn about reptiles. If you decide you want to live with one, they have all the supplies to support that relationship. See more..
