   My daughter had her 11th Bday and she wanted to go skiing. So, we loaded up and headed to Meadowlark Ski Lodge. It was great! We had a wonderful time skiing, and the snow was just right. The place is perfectly sized for teaching young ones to ski, and I even found a few harder runs during the kid's lunch break, enough to make this 50yo have sore legs the next day. The food and people were awesome, and even my older daughter has knee problems, so at lunch time she traded in her ski-rental and for a very small difference in price$, they set her up with her first snow board rental and some quick lessons to get her going!!    Eigentlich wollten wir in den Saloon, der wurde aber gerade renoviert, also sind wir kurzentschlossen in die Big Horn Bar gegangen und wurden gleich von mehreren Einheimischen in Gespräche verwickelt. Es war richtiggehend "völkerverbindend". Die Kellnerin war etwas müde und etwas abweisend, aber insgesamt war es eine nette Pause und schön zu sehen, dass Amerikaner nicht immer sprudellustig und megafreundlich sind sondern auch "ganz normal" sein können.
