We sent out kids to the 1/2 day kids camp and they each caught at least 1 fish. They couldn't stop talking about their day and the fun they had with their 'guide', Tatum. Two days later they were still talking about her and how she helped them catch a fish. The ride on the bus was fun for them and they were so excited we ended up buying gear to commemorate the day. They took a couple of pictures of the kids so we could see the fun they had and the smiles were ear-to-ear. See more..

I have now been to Mexico and Ecuador to mountain bike with 2Wheel Epix. Both trip surpassed my expectations! The riding in both places (though very different) was incredibly fun, challenging, and beautiful. We always eat delicious local food both on the trail and each day for dinner. And perhaps the best of all, we were surrounded by the most kind, helpful and passionate mountain bike communities in both places. 2Wheel Epix has created, not only a sustainable model, but one that the local populations are fully integrated with and that benefits their economies and communities at large. Went to check out the facilities, haven't been here in years since it was moved down the road. Went out trap shooting, I had Michael launching targets for me and he gave me some good tips. Beautiful setup with multiple areas for Trap and skeet. Prices are geared for for the tourist trade. I would get a membership if I was local. See more..

I was fortunate enough to spend my birthday on a half-day fly fishing trip with Lost River Outfitters. Eric Campbell was my guide and as a first time fly-fisherman, he patiently taught me how to cast and set the hook. He layered more knowledge on as the day progressed and he put me in great locations to catch rainbow trout. It was hard for me to get the hook set correct after many years of fishing walleye, but with Eric's instruction, I was soon landing beautiful trout! I believe I caught over a dozen fish and each spot he put me on held fish. I even had success with a dry fly, which was exciting to experience on my first time out. Horseback Riding Tours

I planned a surprise horseback ride for my wife's 30th birthday! She was super excited. We arrived and were quickly greeted. We signed a waiver, paid, given a quick brief, and assigned a horse. All instructions were simple to follow. I liked that they made it fun. My wife and I lucked out... we were suppose to ride with a few more people on the ride but they cancelled. So my wife and I got a private ride. We had a guide in the front and one in the back. We stayed together and headed up the mountain trail. They gave us a carry case for our phones that connected to the saddle so we could take pictures any time we liked. We took a different zig-zag trail down the mountain. this spa is part of the Sun Valley lodge. check in to the spa is the same place you check in for a swim. Not fancy or reasonably private. I was given a short, rough robe and changed in a very nice dressing room. then I had to wait for 10 minutes on a chair in the hallway between the lodge and the pool. chilly and very public. the facial was great and the swim afterwards in the heated pool was nice. I would not go back for more spa services at this place. See more..

My partner and I signed up for a couples massage weeks out in advance. It was a birthday gift to me and we were looking forward to it all for awhile. When we arrived we were told by the receptionist named Kayla that she left us a voicemail the night before saying it was canceled due to a massage therapist being sick. I told her I didn’t get a voice mail and she was very adamant that she left us a voicemail and basically it wasn’t her problem. When she told us what number she had it was clear that had the wrong number (which was confusing as I had called on my phone number the week prior to upgrade our massages). She kept repeating that she left us a voicemail and this was the number “they” gave her and it was clear she didn’t give a f**k about the mess up. We totally understand someone being sick but the way she handled it was so unapologetic, rude and unprofessional. She wasn’t interested in helping us with rebooking for a later date or offering any compensation. Kayla offered that one of us could get a massage while the other used the pool but her attitude was so awful we literally didn’t want to support their business. We had looked forward to this for weeks and it was such a huge disappointment to not only be treated that way but Sun Valley’s lack of professionalism. We will not be rebooking with them and recommend you go elsewhere for your massage with Zenergy or Trinity Hot Springs. See more..
