   I hiked Stillwater with my 12 year old and 5 year old. You have to go about 10 miles on a dirt road to get to the trailhead. There is a very small parking lot (1 handicapped and 1 normal spot) so expect to park on the side of the road. The trail is well maintained. The grade is easy and I believe you gain about 600ft of elevation in the 1 mile it takes you to get to the tower. There isn't a view at the top unless you actually climb the tower itself. However there is a picnic table and some benches up there where we enjoyed lunch. We only saw one other group, they were descending as we were ascending. The tower is in awesome condition, I believe it was restored very recently. See more..
