After months of planning with the assistance of helpful, polite, knowledgeable and ethical staff and long time locals Thornton and Elizabeth Ring we arrived finally to ick up a ea kayak in late August for a few day ocean excursion. We found the boat selection to be large, equipment in satisfactory condition and service prompt. The boat was loaded onto the roof and in half an hour we were on our way with laminated maps, to be returned. The small office shop area does have a few useful pieces of equipment including handy waterproof floating cellphone sleeves. The large kayak selected was durable but quite heavy and sluggish in the water...but it was needed due to the overnight camping gear in tow. Overall quite a pleasant experience at this fie old establishment! See more..
