    - Good wine and friendly service

    Cline Cellars image
We were about 35 minutes late for our appointment on a Friday evening, still we were greeted politely and accommodated to a seat of our choice. The location is very beautiful and has a museum (closed because of COVID) and is also the site of the last mission built in 1823. The wines we tasted were well explained to us. The bet one we like was the Gewürztraminer, we ended up buying a bottle. In genera, we found that the white wines in Sonoma were one of the best ones we have ever tasted. We strolled around the property and one of the staff just stopped by and explained us the history of the location and how the Carrneros breeze affect the quality of the wines they produce. He also told us not to miss the 2 small Sicilian donkeys they had as pets. We saw them, they were so cute and friendly. Great wines and very friendly people, highly recommended. See more..

    Kunde Family Winery image
This was my favorite winery of all the wineries we visited. Even though we didn’t have advanced reservations (make sure to do that) Mikayla was able to do our tasting for 4 on a Sunday afternoon. The tasting was $40 a person and we were able to do 3 whites and 3 reds along with two charcuterie boards. The pairings were phenomenal! Mikayla was an absolute pleasure and even gave us a tasting of her personal favorite. The setting of the winery is so peaceful and relaxing. It’s just absolutely beautiful and we had so much fun doing the tasting. We hope to come back again and do the wine cave tour. Be sure to ask about that when booking your reservation. See more..

    Iron Horse Vineyards image
We arrived about fifteen minutes before our tasting and it was apparent the greeter was having a bad day. “Tasting scheduled for 2:00? I’ll see you at 2:00!!” Shewed us away. We were a little thrown off but returned at 2:00 for a great experience. Spencer was great! He actually saved someone who was experiencing heat stroke and never left us hanging. He came back to guests greeting him with appreciation as he continued to pour sparkling sips for our tasting. He was kind, provided detail with every sip and shared CA information to help with our stay. Big props to Spencer. We made new friends at the other tasting station as we looked over an amazing view. The sparkling wine was great and we’ll be back. The disappointing factor was the inability to give a tip via debit card. The website said no cash so we assumed we would be able to leave gratuity via debit card, nope! Not the case. No tip. We feel awful. Please bring cash and tip the amazing staff!! See more..
