  2. 5.0 WIlliam Grassie Wine Estates Tasting Room (1 review)
    - Fantastic wine and great employees!
    Wine Bars
We had happened by the WM Grassie Winery "home" during the phase 2 opening of the pandemic and the owner Bill Grassie was working outside and waved us up to his driveway and explained that his tasting room just opened in Snoqualmie, WA - which was just a short drive away. We did some more sightseeing, had lunch, and then visited the tasting room. They had outdoor seating, but also indoors, they arranged their wine cases to block off each table creating intimate space to enjoy wine or a tasting. Krista was a great host who was knowledgeable about the wine, vineyards, and Washington wines in general. She was friendly, outgoing, and vibrant. This was a great place to kick off our experiences with Washington state wines. The tasting room had worked with close restaurants nearby that we had tried and were offering 25% off if you showed the restaurant receipt. You can bring food into the tasting room and enjoy a bottle. Wine tasting fees were waived if you purchased a bottle (one bottle waived per tasting fee). We purchased 10 bottles to provide as gifts and to enjoy on our tour of the Olympic NP area over the next week. Returning to Seattle Airport area before departing, we had one more opportunity for a hike nearby and decided to enjoy lunch and another bottle of wine before heading home and were lucky enough that Bill was there working the tasting room. We will definitely be back as the experience was great and the wine was exceptional! See more..

    Snoqualmie Falls image
Enjoy a day out in Washington at Snoqualmie Falls. This 270-foot waterfall beckons a visit for its enthralling views, easy trails and Native American heritage. The best way to enjoy this wonder is right after a downpour when the waterfall’s spray is fuller—adding to the mystical vibe. Train lovers should also hop on an antique train ride to the top of the waterfall. Beside the falls, there are other interesting sites to visit like the Snoqualmie Falls Hydroelectric Museum and Snoqualmie Depot. You can also pamper yourself with a luxe stay at the Salish Lodge & Spa. – Tripadvisor See more..

  9. 4.5 Snoqualmie Point Park (14 reviews)
    - Beautiful and a great learning experience
    Spent < 1 hour Parks
    Snoqualmie Point Park image
Having been fans of the Snoqualmie Falls pancake mix for a couple of decades, the thought of seeing the actual place pictured on the box could not be passed by. So we paid $5 to park (you can park across the street for nothing, but you'll take your life in your hands crossing the road) and went to the observation deck with all kinds of explanations about how it came to be a power source. Nice view, just like the picture on the box but wait, there's more? Oh is there ever. A path, with little signs showing the fauna and flora, leads to the river, after a beautiful walk, mostly downhill. Once you get there, (there are restrooms at the bottom) keep going to look at the hydro power facility. Then, since it was a downhill walk, it's an uphill climb to get back up, keep that in mind and don't wear flip flops. The upkeep on this park is amazing, everything is in tip top shape and it smells so good. Would be a great break for a traveling family. See more..
  10. 4.5 Mailbox Peak (13 reviews)
    - Eventful and worth it!!!
    Mountains • Hiking Trails
    Mailbox Peak image
One of the most eventful experiences for a not so frequent hiker like me. Went up on the new trail, took me more than 3 hours. There were moments during last half mile where I thought of giving up and heading back. But kept going anyways and reached the peak. But ran out of fluids and food, big mistake, I underestimated. To cut the downhike time short, i used old trail, another mistake, it was even more tiring , half way down my body shut down due to lack of fluids and calories. One nice fellow hiker ( I hope he sees this review and responds) on his way helped me and offered me water and pole. I was terribly slow, but was able to make it to the parking lot. Overall very good hike, the views from the top totally worth it, could spend hours. But respect your body's ability and bring lots of fluids and high calories healthy foods. See more..

Most cigar fans know Seattle is very cigar-unfriendly. Found an outstanding cigar bar at the Snoqualmie Casino, about 60 minutes from downtown Seatte. - Great bar with excellent selection of the libations we cigar smokers prefer - Superb stocked humidor. Due to being a casino, NO TAXES.. Padron 45 was ~$25! - ICE BALLS for your scotch or whisky - even with a dice frozen in them - VERY CLEAN, excellent air system, comfy chairs - TV's abound - Friendly staff! GO SMOKE HERE. See more..

    Finaghty's Irish Pub image
Stopped here after going to Snoqualmie Falls. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed that the online menu did not match the current menu. Maybe they need to update their site? Anyway, the food was still great! I loved the Reuben and the Shepard’s pie was great as well. Good Irish beers on tap and to top it all off fast and friendly service. Thank you Karly for being so attentative! Only suggestion. . . . Update your online menu! See more..

  15. 3.5 Snoqualmie Casino (361 reviews)
    - Great Safety In Place
    Monday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Casinos
    Snoqualmie Casino image
Went here in mid June right after they reopened. For the most part, I was pleased with the health safety measures that they have in place- temperature check, limited entry, limited number on elevator, masks, and so on. Only thing I didn’t see enough of that day was machines being cleaned. I also was disappointed that they are allowing smoking inside which means a lot more masks off and germs on machines. Smokers constantly touch there mouths and then the machines..... See more..
