  2. 5.0 Thumbnail Theater (6 reviews)
    - Little gem near downtown Snohomish
    Monday: Theaters
    Thumbnail Theater image
We went to sold out "Special Consensus" concert. This group is based in Nashville and it was too good to be true to see them in this little theater that can seat only 95 people. The atmosphere was intimate, plenty of street parking, only 4 blocks up the hill from historic downtown Snohomish. They told us they are booked with many great concerts and family oriented activities. Non-profit organization. See more..

  4. 5.0 Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery (4 reviews)
    - Amazing walk through American history...
Spent 1-2 hours Cemeteries • Monuments & Statues
Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery image
The Grand Army of the Republic, G.A.R., was the veterans group for Union soldiers of the United States of America. If you are a history buff, this is your place. Graves date back to the early 1880's which is amazing for Western Washington. There are hundred of Civil War veterans buried here and it appears that Confederate soldiers were also accepted starting in the early 1900's as animosity faded. There is also a wonderful granite monument erected in time for Memorial Day (Decoration Day) 1914 which stands as a dramatic center piece to this historic place. The cemetery was established by the Morton, WA Post #10 of the GAR and is currently operated by Post 96 of the American Legion. See more..
  5. 5.0 Alia Wines (2 reviews)
    - The Best We've Tasted from a Small Winery
    Spent < 1 hour Wineries & Vineyards
We found out about this small winery from a friend who invited us to a tasting. The wines are really spectacular - truly the best we've tasted from a small winery in nearly 5 years of RV'ing around the country: CA, NM, AZ, OR, WA, MA, NY. We started with a crisp, perfect Gewurtzstraminer, then went on to enjoy the best, well-rounded, complex versions we've tasted of some reds: a Merlot, Malbec and Cab Sauvignon. If we weren't about to cross the border into Canada, we would have bought up twice what we purchased. We also picked up a Tempranillo that the vintner recommended and we can't wait to try it! Truly, if you like to explore wines from small wineries, you just shouldn't miss this. We were told that, in addition to direct purchases from the winery, Alia wines are also available through the "Wine-by-Cougars" connection at the Washington State University campus store in Everett, WA. 10. 5.0 J.P. Trodden (1 review)
    - Nice tasting room
    Spent 1-2 hours Distilleries
Was recommended that we try this bourbon and were very pleased. The tasting room is in a warehouse area and a little hard to find. Worth the effort. Mara was very friendly and informative. The first three tastings were excellent. The star 5 was exceptionally smooth. There was a great story to go with it. We purchased bottles of star 5 and the maple syrup. Both were terrific for dinner at home. See more..
  11. 4.5 Historic Downtown Snohomish (148 reviews)
    - Great Way to Spend a Day
Spent More than 3 hours Neighborhoods
    Historic Downtown Snohomish image
This was our first time going to Snohomish, and I'm really glad we did. There are great antique shops and boutiques up and down the main street. Too much to see in one day for us so we will be going back again. Quite a few places to grab lunch, dinner or just snacks and drinks. On the way out we stopped in Snohomish Pie Co to take a few slices of fresh Strawberry Rhubarb home with us. What a great place to visit. See more..
  12. 4.5 Centennial Trail (42 reviews)
    - Independence Day Bike Ride
Spent 1-2 hours Biking Trails • Jogging Paths & Tracks
    Centennial Trail image
Paved walk/bike trail, with equestrian lanes on the side. It's a pretty easy bike-ride, although the long, gradual upgrades can be tiring if you ride the whole 30-miles each way. For a Saturday morning on 4th of July weekend the trail wasn't awfully crowded, people were polite and friendly, and there was plenty of parking available at the trail start, by Nakashima Barn. Nakashima Barn is the historic site of the Nakashima family dairy farm. During WWII, in 1942, the family was forced to sell and sent to a relocation camp. A Saturday Farmer's Market was being held in Arlington, at a city park on the trail. See more..
  13. 4.5 Craven Farm (36 reviews)
    - Casual Low Key Farm Visit
Monday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Farms • Wedding Chapels
    Craven Farm image
This is a very traditional fall harvest type farm visit. We had paid a visit to another Snohomish farm festival and were left a little cold by the commercialism of the event. This farm is a little further off the beaten track but has a more casual feeling about it. There was no admission charge for our visit on a weekday, but several of the attractions (food booths) were not open either. Nice farm store with all the stuff you might expect to see. They have apple cider donuts too, but having already had two apiece we passed on these. There were pumpkins and apples for sale too. I think having to choose, I'd visit this farm first and skip the other. See more..
  14. 4.5 The Farm at Swan's Trail (30 reviews)
    - Weekday visit
    Farms
The Farm at Swan's Trail image
Weekdays work better: less crowding, less cost ($10 vs $15), no waiting for attractions. We did everything and packed a lot into our visit: farmyard animals, hayride, kids corn maze, tractor pull, duck races, apple picking, pumpkin picking, slide, climbing on haystacks, pedal bike, hay lifting with pulleys. Covid concerns were addressed (masks required and social distancing suggested) but even though some patrons didn’t listen, there was enough room to spread out and avoid them. Hint: start out your visit with a fresh apple cider donut & coffee-you will need the energy to keep up with the little ones! See more..
  15. 4.5 Lord Hill Regional Park (23 reviews)
    - Lots of options for destinations
    Parks
    Lord Hill Regional Park image
Thus multi use trail is in good shape, trails are easy to maneuver with lots of options and destinations. There is just one foot bridge by the entrance that needs work but it is safe. There is a lot to see and the view changes with the seasons. There is a semi steep decline at the top of the trailhead to start but overall a moderate hike. See more..
  16. 4.5 Bob's Corn and Pumpkin Farm (17 reviews)
    - A must in preparation for Halloween
    Spent 2-3 hours Farms
Wow! What a place to prepare for Halloween. So many pumpkins. We just selected ours from the yard but you can take your wheel barrow and select your own. We bought apple doughnuts which were delicious. Lots of great activities. My son visited the corn maze a couple of weeks ago which was brilliant. See more..

The alchohol was delicious. The liquores in particular the raspberry and spiced apple were my favorite but everything was delicious. Ramona was wonderful and talked us through all the choices. Overall a great stop that I would come back to again. See more..
  18. 4.5 Mountainview Blueberry Farm (10 reviews)
    - Wonderful
    Monday: Farms
    Mountainview Blueberry Farm image
My husband and I attended their annual "Blooms and Berries" event where you can pick sunflowers by the bucket and blueberries by the pint. The staff were very welcoming, the signage for parking and where to head for picking was great, and they set up "photo opps" in the sunflower fields (garden windows, vintage bicycles, upcycled vintage tub, and more) - so darn cute and they were perfect pix for framing. They also had a wide variety of gorgeous sunflowers; I had no idea they came in so many autumnal colors! I mainly attended for the flowers, but this is definitely a fun family outing. There were activities included for children throughout as well as opportunities to purchase handmade goods. Despite the crowds, the traffic flow from parking to walking the grounds was very smooth and well-planned - we really appreciated that attention to detail. See more..

  24. 3.5 Star Center Antique Mall (15 reviews)
    - Many stores in one
    Spent 2-3 hours Antique Shops
    Star Center Antique Mall image
The Antique Mall is comprised of (by my guess) a couple hundred small vendors who each have a cabinet or booth to sell their wares. Each vendor has their own focus. There is a wide variety of antiques, collectibles, and curiosities. I'm old enough that I remember using some of the things! The staff were helpful when asked, otherwise let us browse. See more..
  25. 3.5 Vuelta La Luna Circus (2 reviews)
    - Great show but disgusting male ringleader running it
    Spent 2-3 hours Cultural Events
    Vuelta La Luna Circus image
I very much enjoyed the circus! My issue is with the male owner. We were talking about random things and some how or another got on the subject of the Holocaust ( don't ask me how). He said it wasn't really the Germans fault because they didn't want to kill the Jewish people but the Americans forced them with their invasion. I had no idea what to say. I've never heard someone say something so gross before. So while the show is amazing I just can not support someone like that. I figured the world needed to know it too. See more..
  26. 2.5 Thomas Family Farm (5 reviews)
    - Farm fun
    Spent 1-2 hours Farms
We like to visit different farms and pumpkin patches every year to try something different. However, we enjoyed Thomas Family Farm last Fall so much we decided to come back this year. Last year you could buy a bracelet and depending on the color and price, got to try out the attractions that corresponded to the bracelet. This year, there was one price for adults and another for kids. You had to buy an adult bracelet even just to watch your kid in the activity area. Paintball, mining, and escape rooms were charged an extra $5; last year they were part of the package deal. Food was priced fine, and tasty. We loved the roasted corn, kettle corn, and cinnamon donuts. It was still fun for the kids but if you've visited before, probably try a different one this year. See more..
