- 5.0 Boston Skydive Center (14 reviews)
-Super Friendly Staff
Saturday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM Adrenaline & Extreme Tours
I had an amazing time at Boston Skydive Center and would highly recommend the company. It was the best experience for the price anywhere in Boston. The Company is a family-run business and they are professional and extremely nice. I accidentally left my housekey at Boston Skydive Center and they actually mailed it back to me the following day! The dive itself was incredible. The area where you drop has a clear view of the ocean as well as lakes, farmland, and cityscapes. I went tandem and the instructor I was jumping with had already completed over 25,000 dives! It feels very comforting to know that the instructors are so experienced. Would highly recommend: 9/10 See more..

-Great Farm Stand!
Farmers Markets
Was passing through and found this farm stand. Great stuff, fruits, vegetables and baked goods all mixed in with local Rhode Island things. I would imagine it is seasonal but if you are leaf peepin or in the area, check it out! See more..

-Great Ice Cream
Spent < 1 hour Farms
This is a very cool visit in North Smithfield. You actually are at a farm stand with animals (Cows / Goats) etc. There is a mini market which they seem to specialize in Meat and Dairy. Next to that is an Ice Cream stand. Very well done and it is a farm and feels like one. Plenty of space to gaze and watch while eating. Staff is pleasant. This is a must do in North Smithfield. Oh and the ice cream is amazing! See more..

-A local love
Parks
I am local to this area so I have enjoyed this park since I was a little girl. I highly suggest families with young children to come here to explore as Smithfield's version of "Pride Rock" from the Lion King sits here. There is slow moving streams that are great to put your feet in and the trails are clearly marked and easy to travel on. This park makes a great place to get the family outside. See more..

-Nature in the middle of a Parking Lot
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Nature & Wildlife Areas
We reviewed this location for #ThisIsNewEngland after our visit there November 9, 2014. Well marked trails, family friendly, Couples everywhere, though far between them and us, as this area is huge. The downside is that on the Orange Trail, you escape the city view and have awesome nature everywhere, but you never really escape the noise of the city. The other trails are further away, so they might have a better sound buffer. For more on what we saw, http://thisisnewengland.blogspot.com/2014/11/powder-mill-ledges-wildlife-refuge.html, including some awesome photographs. See more..

-Great Finds
Antique Shops
Wow, if you thing this is just another antiques store, good luck with budgeting your day. You'll find that you are going to spend more time than budgeted. This is a great find, a great mill to spend a rainy day in. Check this out, well worth it! See more..
- 1.0 The Crossing at Smithfield (1 review)
-Big Box Hell
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM Shopping Malls
The road planning results in chronic traffic jams whenever one tries to exit; plan on waiting 5 to 15 minutes extra just to get of the parking field. The buildings are ugly: Think of what happens when a CAD design program mates with a Home Depot=> not pretty. You have to drive from store to store to restaurant. There is nothing here to buy or dine on (other than Dave's Groceries or Barnes & Noble) that you can't do better elsewhere, e.g. Garden City. The chain restaurants are downscale as well as hard to access. See more..
