   The Little Snake River Museum is a local history museum dedicated to preserving the history of this remote ranching community. It is open from the end of May through "some cold day in October". Nearly everything in the museum has been donated by local residents. There are over 15 structures housing numerous historical exhibits on pioneers, outlaws, ranching, mountain men, wild horses antique vehicles and much more. With a shady picnic area, hands-on homesteader house, costumes for dress-up and other craft activities, the museum makes a great family stop. The museum also hosts numerous events throughout the year and leads field trips to historic sites throughout the summer. See more..

   This was my second trip to Savery Creek to trout fish on private water. I had a blast each time. The first time was 2 years ago and this last time was September 13,2018. Savery is in Southern Wyoming about 2 hours drive from Steamboat Colorado and offers a unique fishing opportunity. The creek is full of trout with some 18 inches plus in size. There are rainbows and browns. This year I even caught a Tiger Trout. I fished dry flies the entire day and the fishing was terrific! The actual property is a 30 minute or so ride from Savery. You meet the guide in Savery and ride in his truck to the Creek since the roads between Savery and the property are gravel and some require fording the creek. The area is remote and I loved just the feeling of getting out into this remote area of Wyoming. I have fished with two guides there. Both were great and had me onto fish all day! I highly recommend this fishing experience. See more..
