My lady friend and I had a the occasion to squeeze in a golf lesson during some nice weather recently and signed up with Steve who happened to be the owner. Since she is a beginner, he worked with her separately. My When I found the academy on the internet, I was impressed with the range of programs available at reasonable prices so I thought we would give it a try. The lesson I received was very helpful. He was able to diagnose a variety of problems that I was having and gave me drills that I could follow up with to keep from falling back into old habits. Another nice feature about the academy was their ability to video tape our swings so we could see right away what we might be doing wrong. The facility is excellent as well. It is located at the driving range at Nutters Crossing Golf course and, if I want to take a lesson while playing, that can be arranged. They also have a variety of instructors available. We visited the zoo for our first time on a sunny Sunday afternoon 2 or 3 weekends ago. We have a beach house in OC and had never visited this zoo before and kicked ourselves now for now doing so sooner! While it was a cold and breezy day, it was sunny and lots of people were out. Most of the animals were too (some Alpaca's even had coats on!). We got to see the Wallaby's, Jaguar, Burrowing Owls, Flamingos, Wild Turkeys, etc. The park is free and they do have donation boxes at the entrances/exits and we were glad to "chip in"! I entered a couple decoys in the 2021 Ward World Championship Virtual competition and when I went to pick up my entries they told me I could visit the museum while I waited. They were very careful to make sure I was not transmitting Covid--they check Temperature and asked questions to make sure I had not been exposed. We went on a Saturday evening to the Shorebirds game and had a really good time! We arrived early it was $5 to park and once inside quickly found our seat 2 rows from the field behind home plate. We grabbed 2 hotdogs 3 sodas, nacho and a chicken tender basket with 3 ice creams was over $55! The ballpark was nice and cozy and the game was entertaining. Amazing meandering trails. Lovely woodland/wetland/pond setting. Definitely a great area to bring your dog for a walk. I know other reviews said the trails were well marked, but we managed to get a bit lost. Rather surprising as it’s rare for us to lose direction. But there were some trails crossing each other, joining and/or running parallel..I would have loved for just a dot of color coded paint on some trees by the trails. Just to let you know you’re on the blue vs the yellow vs the pink trail… not too many so that it looks like delinquents tagged the trees. The buildings were still closed to visitors. See more..

Great place for children to bounce, climb, run and play. Covid 19 protocols enforced ( social distancing, masks, frequent cleaning of high contact surfaces). Admission is reasonable and even better with Global Play. Staff, Nicole and Kristen, are welcoming to everyone and work hard to keep party rooms monitored, handle admissions , menu preparation along with sanitizing throughout the day. Poplar Hill is a beautifully maintained and restored residence dating back to 1795. As lovers of history, we enjoyed touring the property and appreciated interacting with our knowledgeable guide. She included local history and information about the former residents, both free and enslaved. I'm sure she adapts her presentation to her audience. This would be a terrific place to introduce children to how people lived long ago. Located less than an hour from Ocean City, MD and from the Chesapeake Eastern Shore, this is an easy drive. I used to visit this mall all the time as a kid with my Mom & Grandma. So, I hold fond memories of it. Now that I'm grown, I thought it would be nice to make a return visit with my kids and my Mom. This visit we were not very impressed with the mall. It has some decent shops left like Boscov's. We thought the Burlington here was just OK. However, the rest of the mall just seemed unimpressive. The kids play area was gone. It seemed there were empty or closed up store fronts. I miss the old Montgomery Ward that used to be here ages ago. Also, I noticed that there is a Chuck E. Cheese in the mall now, but there is NO entrance that I could see from the mall. So, we did NOT even notice it until we were driving around the mall to leave. Overall, it is just an OK mall. IF you are in the area, it will do, but there are better malls to be found. See more..
