   I was with a party of about 16 people so I got to see a lot of the orders as they came in before I dived into my burger plate. Very impressive! Beautiful and bounteous ~ and for what you get, the prices are totally inline. Oh, and about my burger? It was easily among the best 10 burgers I've enjoyed in restaurants all over the USA and in other countries. My rating system gives it a 3-napkin (rave) review. See more..

   Well worth a visit, for us it was "Northern Exposure" and a 30 year dream to come here and see where it was filmed that brought us here, and there is a small section on that in the museum. The base of the museum goes back to the mining days of the town though and the whole history of living here which was much deeper an long lived than the half a decade the show was here though that i'm sure brought in some money and tourism for them. The volunteer here was great very informative on everything from the oldest of days using both his knowledge of things and his own very interesting stories of his own live here and in the region. Much appreciated all that he added to the experience. Highly recommend checking it out and supporting the museum. Maurice Minnifield would want it that way !! See more..

   Beautiful scenery, lots of trees and rolling hills perfect for relaxation. With the addition of the interpretive kiosk, I can look up family and friends. A real treat to see pictures of their life and read their stories at the kiosk. A very educational and personal experience you do not find at other cemetery sites See more..

   Fantastic place to visit and enjoy excellent chocolate, candies and great hard ice cream. Two of my favorite chocolates are the Salted Caramel and Dark Chocolate Bars. Given the array of chocolates, candies and ice cream there is something(s) for everyone. See more..

   We stopped by to see the HD tasting room expecting something similar to or less than their Gig Harbor location. Count us as officially impressed. Housed in an old brick building, this is a spectacular store and event center. Fun places it sit and observe others, or have a private, quiet discussion.    I knew Roslyn was a former coal mining community. I had no idea of the scope of mining as well as the lives lost. A sign provides an overview of the coal mining history of the area. The memorial list the names of those who died while mining. Thankful for the descendents of those who worked in the mine to develop this memorial. See more..

   So first of all this little store has alot of history, it was constructed between 1899 and 1912and was a saloon early on, then a clothing store, drug store, sundry store, and liquor store. It became a tourist destination for fans of the CBS late 80s and early 90's show "Northern Exposure" which brought me here for sure and to the town but it' store than that, though for fans the front of store inside and out is most interesting because it still looks and feels and has shelves from the days of it being Ruth Ann's General Store on the show, and for me that alone was worth it. That being said it was not a bad store either we bought several interesting food and other items including some really good tortillas here to take with us.    So this Store was the building that was used in the CBS show "Northern Exposure" late 1980s to early 1990s. For fans, and everyone should and would be one if they watched it it's great and i believe transitioned to a gift shop after the series. It was Dr. Joel Fleishman's character's office here as played by Rob Morrow. Teh Interior still reflects it and they have shirts stacked on his assistant Marilyn's desk and chair which are still here. The place has lots of Northern Exposure items though i feel they need to restock and get more sizes many items were limited on Large and Extra Large sizes. But, store has lots of other items and gifts of interest for both Sicily, Alaska (the fictious name of the town on the show) and also Roslyn, Washington itself well worth a visit for fans and potential fans of Sicily as well as Roslyn.
