    - So much to do!

    Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk image
What a beautiful boardwalk! Our hotel was on the boardwalk so we literally stepped of the hotel and right on to it. There are SO many things to do on the boardwalk-you would need a day just to enjoy it! Masks are mandatory on the boardwalk at all times. You can ride bikes on it only during certain hours (I believe it was 6-10am). Every restaurant and shop was open so you were able to really enjoy the experience. If you have small children or do not like crowds, I would encourage you to go in the morning or late evenings. If you love to workout out-it is the perfect place to run! Perfect place for couples of all ages and for families to enjoy. I have been to many boardwalks but this one is a new favorite. See more..

    Gordons Pond image
Just a short bike ride from the end of the Rehoboth boardwalk, this is a really nice trail that totals about 10 miles round trip from Rehoboth Beach center of town, where we rented our bikes. We rode in the end of September when the weather was comfortable. It would be quite hot in the summer, as there are long stretches with very little shade. We loved it. The riding is easy on mostly fine gravel trails, with a nice long section of "boardwalk," a metal bridge-type structure that's fun to ride on. You can stop at a WWII observation tower and visit Fort Miles, an old Army fort with a small museum (we didn't go in) and some pretty impressive artillery guns to check out outside. There are benches here and there and at least one water fountain along the way. This ride was one of the highlights of our visit. See more..
  6. 4.5 Junction and Breakwater Trail (226 reviews)

    Biking Trails
    Junction and Breakwater Trail image
As an avid trail rider, this was just the thing I needed to get off the beaten path at the beach and I managed to do 18 miles thanks to another reviewer’s expert advice. Do yourself a favor and check it out. It was so easy to follow signage from Lewes public libretto to downtown Rehoboth and then back up through Henlopen acres through Gordon’s Pond and up Rt. 9 to Lewes again. Flat terrain, some shade and incredible views. Make sure you leave time for a stop at Whiskey Beach. It’s gorgeous! See more..

This was one of those happy unplanned experiences. We decided at the last minute to turn off the road and we are glad we did. A lovely picturesque marina with a restaurant and shop. What a treat to finally visit the Rehoboth Beach Museum after decades of visits to Rehoboth. We were greated at opening1000 by the museum curator who gave us a guided tour from Indian, Dutch, and English settlers, pre World War One, World War II, to the 1950s, 70s, through present day. The museum was a easy half hour visit with historical displays for kids to adults. Well worth the walk and time. If you enjoy local history this is a must stop. The hurricane survival exhibit is amazing! See more..
  13. 4.5 Rehoboth Beach Farmer's Market (51 reviews)
    - Glad I went
Saturday: Spent 1-2 hours Flea & Street Markets • Farmers Markets
    Rehoboth Beach Farmer's Market image
This farmers market is only open on Tuesday, and I am sure glad that I was able to go. It was a spur of the moment thing, and I was pleasantly surprised. We went around 1 and there was a great crowd. I have been to several farmers markets and with the exception of one in Charleston it was the best. They had an assortment of fruit vendors as one does. There was also live music, a pasta stand, honey stand, flower stand, rice pudding stand, baked goods, and many others. I asked to taste the cappuccino rice pudding, and he gave me practically a spoonful. I bought that, and a delicious looking blueberry muffin for the morning. Also, if you need to use the restroom, the Visitor Center is right there for use. I plan on going again next Tuesday. See more..

  15. 4.5 Grove Park (29 reviews)
    - Tot Playground- Awesome
    Parks
    Grove Park image
Funland is fun but Grove Park is FREE fun! :) And if you're like me, you appreciate being off the beaten path with the little ones- that's relaxing vacation time. Of course we could go to a playground at home but the familiarity of green space and the playground is, I think, comforting to the little ones when on sensory (and sugar) overload. I wish I'd ventured into the visitor center... I still might, but time is running out on our vacation! See more..
  16. 4.5 St. Edmond's Catholic Church (24 reviews)
    - HOMILIES GREAT START TO THE DAY @ 8:30 am
    Saturday: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Churches & Cathedrals
    St. Edmond's Catholic Church image
Once I discovered St. Edmond's, I attended daily Mass until the end of my stay at 8:30 a.m. The various priests all gave scripturally on-point, erudite homilies that were relevant to the day. I truly enjoyed going to Mass on vacation. I availed myself of confession on Saturday after the Mass, and the great talk and unusual yet perfect penance were great. See more..

  19. 4.5 Stockley Street Park (13 reviews)
    - Great park for the kids...just a few blocks from the beach
    Parks
    Stockley Street Park image
We took the kids here to be able to run around & stretch their legs. They had a great time at the Silver Lake Tot Lot (in Stockley Street Park). They have 4 baby swings, 2 big kid swings, a small rock climbing wall, at least 4 slides, 2 neat turtle teeter totter type toys and a climbing rope. There are several picnic tables and benches on location. There are tons of shade trees here, which are great for a hot summer day. There was also a water drinking fountain in this park! There is a small foot bridge that crosses Silver Lake and enters the park. From this foot bridge you can see tons of geese & red ear slider turtles. You could bring some cracked corn for the ducks & geese. There were also tons of squirrels running around & playing too. The kids LOVED the wildlife here. Overall, a really nice park. Only downside is that there is no parking lot for this park. So you have to park on the street, which requires a parking permit during the summer season until 5pm. See more..

    - Great weekday activity for the family!
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Amusement & Theme Parks
    Jungle Jim's image
We brought our two boys here (ages 5 and 6) on a cloudy weekday. It was a wonderful time, despite the fact that the park had to temporarily close a few times due to thunder and lightning (we just used this as an opportunity to take a break and check out the nearby outlets until they re-opened). The park was well-staffed and clean and the lines for the most popular waterslides were short and fast-moving. There were lots of waterslides to chose from and plenty of tubes for the lazy river. The lockers were reasonable priced and the snack bar food was decent. We will definitely return to this park. See more..

    - Piece of History on the Boardwalk
    Monuments & Statues
    Verrazzano Monument image
This was a monument on the boardwalk more near the hotels. Nice monument recognizing Verrazano and the importance of his coastal explorations. It is well maintained but not well advertised. People should know about this monument and not happen upon it. We wound up stopping at sunset which made the monument all the more pretty. It is small and is a quick stop, but people should stop to see it. See more..

Beautiful clean and less crowded beach. We went on Labor day and to our surprise it was less crowded. This is not the first time we been here but first holiday and it was nice to see that it wasn’t packed. The boardwalk is 6 min away so we were at the beach for a few hours then it was off to the boardwalk. Kids had a blast and saw a few dolphins. Love this place! See more..
