  1. 5.0 South Bay Sailing (57 reviews)
    - Amazing! A first time experience I’ll never forget.
    Boat Tours
    South Bay Sailing image
I went with three others during the Fourth of July for a vacation for the first time traveling from Tennessee. The experience was so much fun and so new for all of us. It was reasonably priced as well, but the best part was Shane, the one who drove the sailboat. He was very funny and interactive, and so so nice. He definitely made the experience a lot more fun because of his jokes and how kind he was. The sailing in itself was on a beautiful day; we got to see sea lions and pass the rocks out into the open water and see the beaches and the marina. It was really beautiful and an experience I will never forget. Thank you so much for an amazing time for my first time visiting California! See more..

  9. 4.5 Redondo Beach (616 reviews)
    - So lucky to be here!!
    Spent 1-2 hours Beaches
    Redondo Beach image
I used to think that Manhattan Beach was the be all, end all of the South Bay. But you know what? I’m thinking South Redondo Beach is the real hidden gem!! I love it down here! Soooo much more mellow. Wider streets. Less traffic and WAY FEWER tourists! Also the sweeping views, without a water treatment plant right next to you is really breathtaking to look at. I love the breezy, hot summer days and the foggy marine layer mornings. My favorite time of day is around happy hour when the DOLPHINS come out to play!! They are awesome and I will never tire of watching them! I love being just a few steps away from the ocean and the Riviera village. So walkable, I love it! South Redondo is truly so lovely! Nice big kid trailer for our 4 year old to ride in. Fast and friendly service. It was so much fun beach cruisin at Redondo Beach on Memorial Day and the bike staff even recommended an ice cream shop at the Pier when we asked. Overall great experience to rent affordable bikes, I'd totally come back again. See more..

It's hard to recognize it's a French Gastropub from the outside - not much signage. But I think the place was GREAT! Loved the food. I had the Duck something or other... LOVED it! All of the food was good. It's lively and cozy inside. Our waitress was awesome - I wish I remembered her name. Try this place out for a nice big, yummy dinner on a Saturday night. Enjoy. See more..

    - Perfect thing to do on a date - pick your own pearls
    Friday: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops
    Mie Pearl Jewerly image
After dinner at a restaurant on the Redondo Pier, we found a pearl jewelry store called Mie Pearl that let you pick your own oyster for about $12.00 Each oyster is guaranteed to have at least one pearl since it's cultured, but my wife picked was lucky and picked a twin! 2 cream colored 6mm pearls! We had them set as an earring set. She's happy, I'm happy. We thought it was a great unique attraction perfect to couples or families strolling the beach or pier at Redondo (we saw a family trying to out do each other with the pearl picking...) See more..

This gallery has stunning photographs of nature printed on metal. The moment I stepped inside the gallery I felt my body relax and my heart rate slowed down. There is something therapeutic about looking at a moment of our beautiful planet captured in a photograph. The photographer, Jill, has that gift. They may not even tell you, but you can order artwork and have it shipped to hour home. Or you can just enjoy the photography. You will definitely enjoy the time you spend here :) See more..

  20. 4.0 Seaside Lagoon (64 reviews)
    - Great place Ignore the Negative comments
Friday: 10:00 AM - 5:45 PM Water Parks
    Seaside Lagoon image
I disagree with some comments here, just spent the day 8/19/22. I Grew up here and took my kids here I’m 55, this was the cleanest I’ve seen this place my granddaughter and her little friends had a blast. Of course the water is cold but refreshing ( it’s a saltwater lagoon) not a heated pool sheesh cmon people Can’t comment on the crowds though we were there on a Friday. Great place for the kids, I’d say up to young teen maybe otherwise I’d takem to the beach to play in the waves. Lifeguards we’re on it and great, people just need to obey the rules and be respectful. If it weren’t so late in the season we would buy a pass. See more..
  21. 4.0 Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center (25 reviews)
    - Great Performing Arts Center
    Theatre & Performances
Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center image
The Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, actually located in Manhattan Beach is wonderful. The various shows they put on are all great. The seats are pretty comfortable and parking is free. The pricing of the their shows is very reasonable and you will have a great time. Everyone that works there is kind and they really will help you find your seats. The theater is not huge so there is not a bad seat in the house. We have been there many times, and they are kid friendly. Our last adventure was to see the Redondo Beach Ballet Company put in the Snow Queen. It was magical. We have not seen a bad play, musical or ballet there. They have tons of parking and there are wonderful places to dine near by. They also have a park right next to the parking lot, if you get there early and want your kid to blow off energy before the show. You will really like this place. We will be back again and again. See more..
  22. 4.0 Hopkins Wilderness Park (21 reviews)
    - Not What I Expected
Nature & Wildlife Areas • Parks
    Hopkins Wilderness Park image
I was a little disappointed. I was expecting something more like a botanical garden. The park is 11 acres of mostly native plants. Although I walked most of the perimeter, the trails are not distinct. In the back corner is a small amphitheater of concrete seats - not sure how it is used. There are many picnic tables and gas barbeques and several restrooms. The information says there is overnight camping, but I'm not sure where and didn't see anyone doing so. I was hoping to see wildlife, but only saw the Koi and turtles in the pond. Some of the trees had plates with the type of trees printed on them. The park is surrounded by development and while you can't go far without seeing roofs, from high spots you can see the ocean a mile of so away and rooftops extending for many miles in the other directions. There is an open feeling and it was a pleasant visit. See more..
  23. 4.0 Friends of the Vine (8 reviews)
    - Best wine bar in the world
    Friday: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM Speciality & Gift Shops • Bars & Clubs
Can't say enough about this stellar establishment. They have wines for ever ones palette and with the "Cheers" environment if a "can't miss" place. The corkage charge is ok, and the selection is great. Will be back often. See more..

  25. 4.0 South Bay Galleria (4 reviews)
    - Still a good mall - Not to be underestimated
    Shopping Malls
    South Bay Galleria image
The mall is not what it used to be "back in the day", but it's still nice and pretty well-kept. Has some nice stores (Macy's, Tilly's, Kohl's, etc.) and actually can be a welcome break from the other over-crowded and over-priced malls. In addition, still has the AMC Theatre and a pretty good food court. Again, the maintenance of the facility is still good and there seems to be a sense of pride, even without Nordstrom's as an anchor store. See more..
  26. 4.0 Redondo Beach Farmers Market (3 reviews)
