   This park and lake are for Redding residents only. The entrance is hard to find, but it’s a nice spot with good life-guarding, free kayaks after you’ve paid to enter, a nice little beach for children. The roped off area is pretty free of lake grass, but husband ran into a fair amount when swimming beyond the ropes. See more..
