- 5.0 Battenfeld Anemone & Christmas Tree Farm (4 reviews)
-Brightens my day
Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Farms
There is a certain generosity of spirit for a business to sell sweet little bouquets of anemones to the public on an honor system. Pick out your flowers from a refrigerated storage area, wrap them yourself in newspaper ( stack provided) , and leave your money in a cash box on the counter. No one is around. Based on honesty and trust. Thank you for brightening my day. I love my flowers See more..

- 5.0 Petals and Moss Floral Design (1 review)
-Petals and Moss is a beautiful little store for flowers and gifts
Speciality & Gift Shops
Petals and Moss is an interesting little store with unique floral arrangements both dried and fresh. The owner, Nancy Lee, designs all her creations with much ingenuity. I love the store's design with its minimalist look and not overloaded with flowers all over the place. The owner keeps things simple and elegant and the interesting part of her store is that she fills it with fresh flowers from her garden when they are in season. She has unique gifts and ideas for host presents. It is nice to have that personal service from the owner of the store in a time when service in stores has become depersonalized. Red Hook has such wonderful stores. See more..

- 5.0 Hoffman's Barn (1 review)
-Great antiques at Great Prices!
Antique Shops
Hoffman's Barn is our favorite antique barn. Roger, his wife Pam and the entire team will go out their way to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Unlike other shops, they continue to add to their inventory regularly. Prices are very fair and I am fairly certain you will walk away with something you've been looking for or maybe even something you weren't. Either way, you'll leave there happy - it's that kind of place. See more..
- 5.0 Ox Yoke Antiques (1 review)
-Nice Litte Antique Shop
Spent < 1 hour Antique Shops
My husband and I stopped here on a day trip to upstate New York. We've been to Red Hook in the past. We walked the village and stopped here. Had a lovely chat with the owner's mother, who was so gracious. Nice inventory, reasonable prices. I bought an antique vegetable bowl. Would definitely stop here again when I'm in the area. - 4.5 Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome (284 reviews)
-I only wish I could give it more stars
Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Speciality Museums • Air Tours
If you have any interest in history, World War I, early aviation history or just how engines work, you will love the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. I was here as a kid, and came back as an adult. The museum and the hangers are well worth the $20 ticket, even if there was no show. What to expect: looking at original and replica WWI and pre WWI planes from both sides of the war in various degrees of restoration without anybody rushing you in or out. The people are super laid back and real friendly. You can tell they are there because they love what they do Bring your kids, and someday they will bring theirs. See more..
- 4.5 Greig Farm (56 reviews)
-One of my favorite places.
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Art Galleries • Farms • Farmers Markets
Greig Farm is a third-generation family farm located in Red Hook, NY. Our farm was founded in 1942 by Marion and Robert Greig, who began the farm with a small herd of dairy cows, an apple orchard, and a strawberry patch, which was open to the public. Their son, Norman Greig, began farming in 1975 and gradually added blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, pumpkins and other crops to the farm. We have always felt a responsibility to provide our community with a welcoming space and sustainably-grown, healthy produce. Our 1850s dairy barn was once home to seventy cows and today it is home to our farm market & cafe, a local craft market, and an art gallery. Our home is your home, and we look forward to the next 70 years in the Hudson Valley. See more..
- 4.5 Poets' Walk Park (35 reviews)
-Quiet place to linger
Spent 1-2 hours Parks
We weren't sure what to expect. The trails are not long. No historic monuments or buildings. But the walk through the meadows and woods to vantage points by the Hudson was relaxing and enjoyable. We sat for a while in two places and listened to the sounds of birds and insects. Nothing else disturbed the silence. People walk their dogs, their children, even elders, quietly. What a nice break from the noise and craziness. See more..

- 4.5 Rose Hill Farm (3 reviews)
-Our favorite fruit picking place in the metro NY area
Spent 2-3 hours Farms
This is our favorite place for fruit picking, and we go to many places in NY and NJ to compare it to. Every type of fruit has numbers of varieties, each in a clearly marked row. The people who work there are professional and helpful. We have met the owners a few times who were very interested in us having a good experience. As with all the fruit picking places, get there early to get the best pickings. It is such a beautiful classy place. The entrance is like that of a Tuscan villa, with big, old elegant trees lining the road. The property was first deeded in the 1790's! So there is some history with this place. Over the last year they aded a cider mill and drinking establishment. I don't know how it is doing in this Covid era. We have bought local eggs there that were very good. It is 5 minutes from Red Hook. A special place to visit and enjoy. See more..
- 4.0 Stage Stop Antiques (1 review)
-An Old Barn With Some Surprises
Antique Shops
You see all these little signs within a 10-mile radius pointing the way to STAGE STOP ANTIQUES. Your curiosity is whetted. So you follow the signs and wind up at an old red barn on the side of Turkey Hill Rd., right near the Taconic Parkway. Note: You are in Milan, but the zip code is Red Hook, so even TripAdvisor couldn't find the place! Step inside and you smell the old, musty barn and spy the treasures of a dealer to whom collecting and selling this merchandise is in his blood. You can judge from the Facebook page what he has and if it interests you. Lots of old tools, glassware, ephemera, books, and modern turned wood ornaments and bowls from a local craftsman are just some examples. You won't necessarily furnish your upstate retreat with items from here, but you might find a treasure or collectible. Definitely worth a trip and a look. See more..

- 3.5 Red Hook Pool (3 reviews)
-A Lovely Pool with a Fair Locker Room
Spent < 1 hour Sports Complexes
I went lap swimming for the first time in this pool. It was clean, safe, uncrowded, and free!! Yes, there are all sorts of rules, but it's worth it to be able to swim outdoors in Brooklyn. Be sure to bring shoes to wear in the locker room. There are separate rooms for changing, or you can use the communal room. I met 2 new friends, and I can't wait to go back. If the locker room weren't an old basket ball court, the pool would be 5 stars. See more..
