  1. 5.0 Beaumont Cellars (12 reviews)
    - Tasting room in Kirkland
    Monday: Wineries & Vineyards
    Beaumont Cellars image
The only wine club we belong to. Excellent palate profile, very approachable and easy to drink wines. The reds are the strong point. A couple of times a year, members are invited to parties at the Quincy location- out past Wenatchee. Affordable juice, as well (that's a nickname for wine, altho they also sell non- alchohol juice from the winery property. Beumont was a fruit producer before they started making wine!) See more..

    Beezley Hills Preserve image
This TNC preserve is really neat. It is located just off of Monument Hill Rd., north of Quincy. Just drive to the prominent radio towers and stop at the road heading to them on Monument Hill Rd. Look south toward town and you are there. The cacti are small and grow in clumps. Get a picture to help you find them before you go. Also a really nice view from here. See more..

Cave B Estate Winery Quincy Tasting Room image
Cave B Estate Winery is an award-winning winery located in the Ancient Lakes of Columbia Valley AVA (American Viticultural Area) in the very center of Washington State Wine Country. We make an impressive variety of wines as we grow a broad range of grape varieties, made possible in large part by the microclimates which exist in our distinctive cliff-side location, 900 feet above the Columbia River. We currently produce approximately 6,000 cases of Cave B wine a year under the Cave B Estate Winery and our Caveman Red & Cavewoman White labels combined. We also sell grapes & wine to other wineries as fruit, custom crushed juice or bulk wine. Our main tasting room is in Quincy, WA with our vineyards and production facility, located next door tothe Gorge Amphitheatre. Our second tasting room is in Woodinville, WA See more..

Wowza. We drove here at sunset on a whim to see the basalt columns. Those were cool but super crowded, so we kept driving. I'm glad we did. If you go to the end, you'll be able to make it all the way to the river. Drive back has breathtaking views of the cliffs. Highly recommend! See more..
  8. 4.5 Ancient Lakes Trail (17 reviews)
    - Bring your mountain bike, leave the hiking boots
Spent More than 3 hours Hiking Trails
    Ancient Lakes Trail image
My girlfriend and I came with our mountain bikes on March 20. There definitely were a lot of hikers, but It’s so much more fun to be on two wheels. After about ten minutes of riding, we were far from where the day hikes and backpackers ventured out to. The weather was pretty perfect, besides the occasional strong gust of wind. Any later and it would’ve been hot and dusty. Any earlier and it would’ve been too cold. Desert weather changes fast so pack a warm layer. See more..
  9. 4.5 Jones of Washington (10 reviews)
    - Still a small town favorite!

    Jones of Washington image
Jones of Washington is a family-owned winery, with vineyards located along the Columbia River in central Washington state. As one of the first families to farm these productive and scenic lands, we watch over our estate vineyards and world-class grapes as if they were a son or daughter. The same commitment is applied to our artisan wines, which receive the love and attention only people closely tied to the land can provide. See more..

This winery is a small, family owned vineyard. They plant, grow, pick and crush all their own grapes, start to finish. They are done in Swiss style so be prepared for real flavor and NO OAKINESS! Unique varieties as well!! Great location and INCREDIBLE view!!! See more..
  11. 3.0 Maypole Park (1 review)
    - One of the oldest parks in the country
    Spent < 1 hour Parks
    Maypole Park image
This is an odd, small spot that's part of Quincy History. The Merrymount neighborhood was created by a non-Puritan, and he openly worked with and did business with the Native Americans. As said in a historical market nearby, "Thomas Morton, A Merry Englishman set up an Eighty-Foot Maypole here in 1627, named the Place Ma-Re Mount ("mountain by the sea"), and Dispensed Good Cheer. The Puritans, scandalized by his revels and Endangered by his arms traffic with the Indians, deported him and cut the Maypole down." There isn't much to see now other than a small park and some placards. but it's an interesting little piece of history to see in the area. See more..
