   St. Peter the Apostle is an historic Roman Catholic church located near Queenstown, Maryland. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The actual parish of St. Peter's was established in 1765. Construction of the present brick church began 198 years ago, with subsequent additions creating the Victorian style seen today. Large rose windows are a prominent feature. The well maintained cemetery has tombstones that also date from 200 years ago. It would be a good plan one day to organize a tour of the historic churches of the Eastern Shore. See more..

   What a beautiful park. It has lots of walking trails and hardly a soul in sight. Lots of nice scenery and most of all serenity! You do run together with the horse trails sometimes and the mud is deep! No way around it...great for kids, too. Bumped into a really really old holly bush, now tree. Amazing! See more..
