   We had gone for an afternoon drive and desided to stop along the Lake Front. We were able to get down to the waterfront and look at all the beautiful boats anchored at the Marina.    - Loved seeing the historic buildings & reading the history on them.

   Although the buildings weren't open because of Covid-19 it was a great experience just to walk though to view & read the history in this historic Village. We can't wait to come back another time to see the history inside the buildings and perhaps a guided tour for more stories on the buildings. See more..

   I was looking for a place to pull off and get some photos of Lake Huron and came upon this roadside park. I parked in the smaller southern lot and too some photos from up on the overlook and then walked over the bridge and down the boardwalk steps to the beach. The shoreline was almost up to the steps, so there must have been some erosion relatively recently. The Google Map view shows a lot more sand, but that wasn't the case. It's worth a look. See more..
